Misc I need to get a ticket for a title on my 3DS

I installed Minecraft as a CIA on one of my SD cards on my 3DS, but then I thought that I would want to be able to re-download it on the eShop. I tried going into the re-download-able software section in the Settings/Other button on there, but Minecraft did not show up. I bought Minecraft 3DS Edition about 2 years ago in early March 2020. I tried looking for an SD card of mine that had Minecraft available to download, and I did find one that was able to download the game legitimately from the eShop, but the problem is that SD card is corrupted, and I can't download anything on there. I tried to see if I could try and download anyway to see if it would install the ticket, but it did not. I then switched to my normal SD card and I uninstalled all of my Minecraft game tickets (they were not legit, and not in the eShop folder when I mounted ticket.db), and then I uninstalled the game and kept my saves. I did so just to be sure that the illegit ones wouldn't mess with downloading the legit ticket if I ever got the card fixed. Also, I tried to backup the contents of my SD on a Chromebook (the only other device I have

), and it was almost done copying, but then it said it couldn't copy some things from the card, and I checked to see what it couldn;t copy and it was the titles folder in the Nintendo 3DS folder. My plan was to backup, then re-format the card to FAT-32 and put all the files back on it (also it's a 32 GB).
How can I re-format or entirely back up all my data on the corrupted SD card on just a Chromebook? I think that I can get the legit ticket if I just fix it and then re-download the ticket.
If I can't get the ticket for some reason, could there be a way I could get an official ticket some other way?

You only get legit ticket if you legally buy them, not from CIA, therefore no redownload from eshop.

No, you need to legally purchase if you want to redownload from eshop, that how the ticket work, if you don't have a legit ticket, it won't show up in the redownload section

An idea I have is to uninstall the game, then delete the ticket. Try redownloading after that. I don't know if having a fake ticket beforehand will cause a problem.

I know ticket sometime cause problem with download, had to delete one ticket to redownload pokebank

If you had a Windows PC, I would suggest Roadkil's Unstoppable Copier. I'm not sure if there's something equivalent that will work on a Chromebook.

I wouldn't expect tickets to have such a strange dependence on SD cards.

Thank you! I borrowed a Windows computer and I used the unstoppable copier to take everything from my SD card to a folder on the disk (I skipped a really big corrupted file), then I formatted it to FAT-32 with 16-KB clusters and now I'm using the tool to put everything back on there. I will see if it works when I'm done and then post here.

I got all the files back on there, and then I put the newly formatted SD in my 3DS. I went to the eShop to see if it was able to be re-downloaded, and it didn't show up. Then I tried going to the title to see if I could redownload, but I couldn't. I hope I didn't mess anything up when transferring the files or deleting the illegit ticket...
I guess I'll have to download a ticket online, or maybe I can install a legit CIA and then I can get the ticket that way?

No, like I explained it already you didn't legally bought the game why would not be in your redownload list on the eshop,

I saw that I could redownload it in the eShop on my corrupted SD before I reformatted it. The only reason why it wouldn't download was because it was corrupted.

No you are wrong, from what you said you installed minecraft cia, you didn't legally bought it, so there is no ticket on eshop to allow you to redownload, if you want the game again, just install the cia again.

How could it have detected that it was redownloadable then? Why would an illegit ticket show up there?

Legit ticket is only valid if you legally bought it, as it is stored on server end, Nintendo changed their way how they detected a ticket is legit or not. Back in the day before Nintendo shut down freeshop 3ds people were able to generate fake ticket and download from Nintendo content distribution network (cdn)

ticket that are use for validation are on server end, as for ticket for installed content are in CTR-NAND.

If you visit https://www.nintendo.com/store/products/minecraft-new-nintendo-3ds-edition/ and login, does it tell you it is already purchased? Is your 3DS still logged into the same NNID that you used when you made the purchase?

Buying minecraft 3ds edition doesn't matter when he said he installed minecraft as cia, if he deleted minecraft 3ds edition and it doesn't show up on his redownload list it doesn't solve his problem.

I've done the same but on the wiiu. If it's similar, you'll have two tickets, one retail and one fake. The eshop version will not install if the fake ticket is before retail, which is how it will be if cia version is installed last. I don't know if deleting the ticket deletes both or not. I also don't know if the ticket will be redownload from the eshop or if it scans the system if it's present. It may require hex editing.
