So the main issues are just that GC games aren't showing up in USB Loader GX
When inside USBLoaderGX, check the banner on top and click on its tabs, in one of them you'll find if it's set to show just Wii games or Wii/GC/nand etc.
Or you could launch them from Nintendont directly..
Also forgot to tell you to do a syscheck, post it here. :)

The program should rename it properly according to title ID, the windows equivalent tools do that's for sure.

Make sure u have Nintendont on your USB or sd for gamecube loading. It can be used in its own or integrated within USB loader gx. U would need to enable Nintendont in gx settings, check gx path settings are also correct for Nintendont and GC games.

And when viewing your games in gx there's a button in the top left that allows u to select different categories, make sure GC games is checked in addition to wii games

Yep, its set to display both Wii and GC games and the paths are correct. I'll have to mess around with witgui to figure out how to get it to name stuff automatically. How can I post the syscheck because it seems like the system is blocking me from uploading any files or links?

Just open the generated syscheck file with Notepad and copy/paste the text here, get it under a spoiler tab if you can so it wouldn't clutter the whole page. :D

I think the problem might be that the files are in nkit.iso format instead of .iso, which I didn't notice earlier. Seems like this is why it's not working with USB Loader gx. I found the program on this forum meant to convert it but it seems like its for windows only. Does anyone know of a way I can covert it using mac?

Your syscheck looks good. Though don't know why it shows ios base hash there but whatever..

Don't know if USBLoaderGX supports NKit format or not, most likely not. You should put wbfs files or isos, wbfs preferably since they save you some space..

Quick updated in case anyone is curious: I had to download NKit converter off this forum and mono in order for it to run on mac. I successfully converted the file to .iso, put it on the drive, and...it still didn't show up. Everything works in nintendont though so I'll just be using that. Appreciate the help from everyone.

Hi! Just registered here looking for help with my pre-owned, modded Wii.
So by the start of the year I bought a used Wii console that came updated to the 4.2u version, priiloader and uloader (not the homebrew channel though). Lately I've been willing to update it to 4.3u so I could homebrew it myself, so I've bought some days ago a game released after June 2010 (LEGO The Lord of The Rings) after reading in this forum that it would let me update it from the disk. So, I insert the disk and the disk channel tells me there's an update, but after agreeing with the warning it gives about removing third party channels and all that thing, the update starts and it suddenly tells me that there was an error, just letting me go back to the Wii Menu. I honestly don't know what to do. The two "block updates" options from priiloader are also disabled.
I've been checking hackmii, but I was kinda worried that these conditions I mention in the post about how the Wii came when I bought it would interfer in the process. The Wii came with a 2GB SD memory with a private folder. Could something wrong happen if I take these files out of the memory and use it to use the Letterbomb exploit having in mind everything else mentioned? Thanks in advance.

Yes, it does pop up as game with NKIT. Do you have enabled the multiple partititions option?

I have lots of other-consoles (dualshock 4, Dualsense, PS3, X360, One and so on) pads. Is there any way to use them on a Wii?

If you mean using them to play Wii games then i don't think that's possible, since the motion controls are hard-coded into the games in some way (in most games), so it's not as simple as a controller swap.
Though i'm not sure if you can do that if a game supports GC & Wii Classic controller, changing those to the desired controller inputs, probably not..
But for Nintendont (GC games) it supports alot of controllers (look here), same with emulators..

I think I have done everything to softmod the Wii, but I still can't get USB Loader GX to load games from HDD or USB drive. I suppose it detects the HDD correctly as there is no 20 second countdown. HDD is in port 0.

There are a couple of games in the hard drive, stored with Wii backup manager, but they are not shown in the GUI. Attached photo shows the screen of USB Loader GX when it starts.

What should I check next?

@torput while in USBLoaderGX, click in the banner on top and make sure it's set to show Wii/GC games.

You can also check the HDD path on the settings there, and manually set it if it's not correct.

You have the Homebrew Channel running on IOS61, it must be IOS58, use this to install it.

Thank you so much for super fast reply! Your first guess was correct - and I now switched to Wiiflow which works out of the box.

Btw I had installed IOS58.

Ok, I'm trying to datamine this one game (Haneru no Tobira Wii : Girigirissu) for its models (I'm making VRChat Avatars with them if you're wondering) and none of the 3D assets are showing in the Partitions (using dolphin to see them), only sound files. so I'm wondering if that's an iso problem, or something else.

Have there been any changes in the sensor module between Wii Remotes and Wii Remote Pluses?
I've bought a used WMP from eBay a few weeks back (definitely not a replica, the build quality appears to be better than my 2008 WMs; probably pre-Wii U production era on this one as the sync button is not exposed through the battery cover).
It's working fine, but it feels like there's a bit of pointer smoothing getting applied to the pointer motion, even in the system menu, whereas the input from my old remotes is a lot more raw-feeling. This smoothing almost gives me the impression of there being some kind of input delay, which hurts my writst a bit when playing. Maybe my WMP's using a different bluetooth channel, and the smoothing is an interpolation-based countermeasure for interference present there, who knows.
Either way, this is not my AV setup being funky, I'm going into a retrotink 5x through HDRV cables in framelock mode, which is virtually lag free.
I'm on 4.2E, have there been any system level bluetooth changes between 4.2 and 4.3?
