Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection launches in two volumes on Nintendo Switch next year

Capcom announced today another big collection of classic Mega Man games coming to modern consoles and PC. The Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection will feature ten games originally released on the GBA. It will release in two volumes on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Steam in 2023. The physical release on Switch and PlayStation 4 will include both volumes, possibly meaning they will release the same day. (The two volumes will only be available separately as digital purchases.) This new collection will feature a gallery, a music mode, and the ability to turn on and off a high-resolution filter.

The first volume will feature Mega Man Battle Network, Mega Man Battle Network 2, Mega Man Battle Network 3 Blue, and Mega Man Battle Network 3 White. The second volume will feature Mega Man Battle Network 4 Red Sun, Mega Man Battle Network 4 Blue Moon, Mega Man Battle Network 5 Team ProtoMan, Mega Man Battle Network 5 Team Colonel, Mega Man Battle Network 6 Cybeast Gregar, and Mega Man Battle Network 6 Cybeast Falzar.

Shit man really? I'm about to start Megaman Battle Network 6 soon since it's the last game I need to finish for the whole series.
But for the switch. they look better and bigger (due to the screen) Another reason is playing it on the go without carrying a lot of AA's with you. :rofl2:B-)

so... no star force, no localization of operation shooting star, no double team and no gamecube spinoff?
i hope it's at least the eshop enhanced versions
This is Capcom. Not SEGA. I mean. If they did release RE: Revelations 1 in Europe as Physical. Then i might have hope. But they didn't so i imported the American version. :)

So they do somewhat care about their blue boys; any chance of a new game, in like ANY of the numerous series? I think Legends 2 ended on a cliffhanger, so maybe Legends 3 would be nice?

I dunno, I'm not a Mega Fan.

legends 3 was announced like 12 years ago. unfortunately, it was canceled about 11 years ago as well.

Hopefully these are proper ports of the games from source code just like the Zero/ZX Legacy Collection.

Overall, pretty excited for this. Gonna get it day one next year. Hopefully, they make a collection for Legends too and maybe make a 3 as well.
Only changes I want are some clear translation cleanups. I don't need Protoman to talk about how he wants to "Load Chaud".

The official website shows that the collection is 1 Player only. No indication of any online play.

I'm hoping this is more a temporary thing and that the 2023 release year is because they're working hard on online.
