@EZ-Flash2 I reported this issue two months ago and you still have no clue when the update will available? Really!? I'd like to know why this is taking so long, after all the DBZ anti-piracy was addressed in this amount of time.
Thank you for your report, the current series of games is not in a state of unplayability through the solution given in my reply above, please look forward to the new kernel update, but we are unlikely to update the kernel just only to fix this problem.

This is not an issue with the kernel. It is a firmware issue. I applied the AP code that the kernel injects into a ROM by hand with a hex editor and the game was completely playable on an emulator. I shouldn't have to use a workaround just because you're choosing not to resolve the issue with the flashcart itself.

@EZ-Flash2 So, that's it? You're not doing anything about this? I'm not the only one complaining about this problem. @hippy dave is too. I honestly don't care how insignificant you feel this issue is, you could at least show you care about your customers by being willing to fix the issue. Between this and the EZ Junior still not getting a finalized update, you act like you could give two shits less about your customers grievances for your products.

We are aware of this issue, and are currently dealing with a lot of development work, this issue is a non-fatal bug, please wait patiently for the kernel update.

If the answer was along the lines of "we are currently working on the next update, which will include this fix among other improvements, and will be ready <moderately soon>", that would be one thing. But when the answer appears to be "nah we know it's broke but we're not gonna do our job until something else forces us to", it doesn't feel good to paying customers.

I've only just stumbled upon this myself as I went to play the nes classics on my ODE rev a fw:5 k:1.03.
Latest cfw also did NOT work for auto patching.

As much as we would like an auto patch fix for this, there is a manual work around which I've just done myself using these IPS patches and the "gbata" program that came with the simplede cfw in the tools folder.

Link for IPS patches post, link for dl in post.

Last cfw released by Sterophonick (thank you for your efforts in the scene!!)
Scroll down to post #984 for the last DE release.

I'm not supplying the games, you know where to find those already.

As far as the rest goes it's pretty self explanatory once you open the gbata app, all you'll want to do is IPS patch your games so locate the game, locate the freshly downloaded patch file for the corresponding game and patch.

@EZ-Flash2 You are literally the only way your customers can receive support for their EZ-Flash flash cartridges. Why there isn't a way to get direct support for these cartridges beyond having to flag you down and pray for answer is mind-boggling and quite frankly, pathetic. You need to wake up and answer your customers inquiries or come out and explain why you aren't doing so, because this is insulting and has been going on for too long.
