Cherry's house won't appear in my town?

So 2 days ago Cherry went in my campsite. I played charades and I won. Next day, I don't see her house plot ANYWHERE. Today, I got Isabelle saying someone moved to town, but her house won't show on the map nor in the house list. Is there not enough space? If I don't see her house today, and I clear some space occupied by trees and flowers, will I see her house? If she didn't move today, will I see her tomorrow, or never?

Takes a bit for the move to finalize and in AC:NL, I'm pretty sure houses will plop down regardless of trees and flowers, the latter being removed in favor of the former. It's pretty much just a game of patience.

Just stay below 10 villagers or else she won't move in until someone else leaves. Otherwise? 3-10 days to move in, though it's very rare it takes the full 10 afaik.

Thank you! I'm not used to seeing Isabelle do the announcement but the house isn't there

It's kinda odd because she also appears in the town history villager list, but her house isn't in town and people mentioned her when she moved in

Definitely a bug then. I don't think I've ever quite encountered it. Did you do any editing to make her appear or in your save file in general?

I didn't, I only used hacks to edit house positions, maybe that caused it?
It's possible, but I can't say for certain. I've hacked my own save file to change housing position and this didn't case a problem even after villagers moved in and out. Doing this, however, does imply you're knowledgeable about editing your file. It may just plain be easier setting up Cherry's house somewhere else. I'd naturally dump and backup the file you have now just in case. You're dealing with something I've never heard of and I'd hope putting Cherry's house in manually would just override her 'move-in' plot, but I don't want you risking aggravating the situation without a safeguard.

Actually, it isn't that her plot was stuck, but her plot just wouldn't show up. I made her be in boxes so she will move out
