Lookalike DualSense controller for PS4

Saw this a couple of months ago and now, some are actually using it and saying it's a great controller.

I have plenty of DS4s so not gonna buy this, but looks really nice (aside from the House button and the alien-ish symbols).

The one thing to be concerned about is a lot of third party controllers don't work in the recovery menu.

I tried to setup my ps4 Pro with a Nacon Pro controller and it did not work. I had to get a real Sony ps4 dualshock controller.

I think that controller is wired and it didn't work? I'd get a refund since it fails to function on extremely important parts.

I've been using one of these for a few months now. I decided to get one because I had a good experience with Dualshock 4 clones from Aliexpress too. The ergonomics are identical to official controllers and all the inputs are responsive and precise. I'd definitely recommend them.

Works in Recovery Mode?

It's a very impressive clone, I'll give it that and I'm a bit tempted to buy one (since DS5 doesn't work natively with PS4).

Yep, just tried it on a PS4 Pro.

I bought it to use on a PSTV for that reason.

If I didn't have 5x DS4s I'd get one.

i own bottom left controller on 01:05 videos, it works on recovery menu as long you plug it in onto ps4 usb
i didn't say it was great but it is very cheap compared to the originals, and when you play certain type of games one of the button didn't recognized by the games, if you're playing sports game like fifa or e football this controller is for you

just stick to the original controller, use this controller as a reserve when you play button mashing type of games

Good to know.

Also, I've tried eFootball 2022 and it wasn't very good. There were times it lagged between players, when my rival should've scored a goal, yet it was "offside." It was a shitshow of an online match.

The offline wasn't much better either. Ultimately, it made me go back to PES 2018.

Here's an update:

Tested the fake PS5 controller for PS4 and you know what, I actually prefer the newer model called "T29" (on the right) as it has more weight, the Options/Share buttons are bigger, and it has those black rubber that feel good while holding the controller.

Of course, it also has backbuttons (I don't particularly care about that).

And both are recognized as DualShock 4 and usable in Safe Mode (I tried it).

What "T28" has going for it is that it looks way nicer while "T29" has a cheapish looking.

P.S. I posted this same comment on the Bought/Got Thread, just decided to post it here to let anyone interested about it.
