Hello Gentlemen,

Is there a way to hide certain more... unsavory titles from the menu while navigating on Switch? Asking for a friend.

P.S. It would be a shame to delete these titles. My friend said. So he is really looking for a solution that would just hide those games when company is over.

If the games will run on a lower FW version (11.0.0) you could dual boot SXOS and Atmosphere (made Atmosphere the default autoboot.)

Dual Boot Atmos/SXOSAtmosphere and SXOS each on their own hidden partition emunand courtesy of @mikefor20

It might be using a shotgun to swat a fly, but it could work…

Tell the friend to hide his piracy by using emunand or launch as many owned titles to push the piracy ones out of sight. Don't know why you need to hide games its not like anyone can tell its pirated on the home screen unless its homebrew apps your trying to hide.

Use a second MicroSD, missing titles will still show up on the home menu but won't be launchable.
Or use a second emuNAND (assuming your Switch is hacked), that would keep them completely separate, can also be on a different MicroSD.

best you can do (outside of a second emunand which would take much more space) is make nsp backups on your sd and uninstall them when people are around then reinstall them once they are gone

They're not trying to hide games that are pirated, they're trying to hide games that are porny :tpi:

Use a second MicroSD, but you'll have to manually remove the missing titles from the home menu.

Can I change my answer to this one?

Keeping your ”special” card under your mattress would be in keeping with tradition. Bonus points for labeling it “Homework.” LOL

e: the issue of lingering icons actually got me thinking about other traditions such as removing the cover from your magazine and replacing it with the cover of Popular Mechanics or something. Since we can repack an NSP with a different name and icon grab the name and icon from something like this list and “hide them in plain site”

I want to hide games too. Is there no way using DBI or some other way? How about renaming dir's in the filesystem?
