Can't set up NTRBoot

So I am following 3ds.hacks.guide to install NTRBoot to my flashcard...

Yet when I get to pressing "Inject FIRM" and input the key combo, all it does is just display "Failed to inject FIRM!".

The flashcard says R4 SDHC Gold Pro 2020 r4isdhc.com - yes, I know it is timebombed and all, however this was the one that I received with my 3DS, I didn't buy it.

I done everything correctly, even reformatted the flashcard microSD and installed a clean kernel. Still the same exact error.

Seriously, people around can help and will help when they can, just be patient..

Anyway, are you sure it is supported? Double check the name on the label, its site etc.
Other than that, when you said "firm" i assume it's Luma3DS boot.firm? Redownload the file again..
Also if your cart has the switch inside, is it switched to ntr?

My flashcard looks exactly like this, except the year on the label is 2020 instead of 2021.

Yes. It does that with a brand new kernel from its website.

Section II, step 11. I input the key combo and after like 10 seconds, it displays a red message:
"Failed to inject FIRM! Press <B> to return to menu..."

Edit: BTW, may i ask why you are trying to install cfw with ntrboot instead of Pichaxx or Seedminer? Do you have a bricked 3DS?

Nvm, i thought you had the 2021 model..
Anyway, sounds like it is having trouble writing and flashing "ntrboot_flasher_nds.nds" to the cart. I would suggest redownloading that file and trying again. Also i highly recommend testing the sd card with h2testw if you haven't already, if it's faulty it could be a reason why this is happening.

Tested already with h2testw, no errors. File redownloaded 2 times already.

Is your 3ds operational? Can you use it normally, boot in to the home menu etc.?

My 3DS is fully operational.

For the second question, my 3DS is already homebrewed with Pichaxx/Seedminer - I just want to install NTRBoot on my flashcard just in case things go bad and my 3DS bricks.

If it says 2020 instead of 2021 then it's not the same flashcard and may not be compatible (and from what you are saying, that's apparently the case)

Ok good. But for your issue, you could try doing the steps all over again it, it might fix itself somehow.. Other than it could be just a faulty flashcart, most of these are cheaply made and they can get faulty/bricked for no reason whatsoever..

Well i'm just taking his word for it (might wanna show a pic of it).. Now there's a lot clones and clones of those clones out there for these carts, along with confusing names & site names, one could mistake things..
