Interesting to know that perception and consideration of knowledge needed to use a device depends of the country where you are from. I suspect that Germany is the country that requires maximum prerequisites in order to use or build things, that why you build the most reliable cars....From what you said, I understand that you are Germans. Understand that the standard european or other continents knowledge is not that level, maybe because you were lucky to received an education above average european or other countries. For example, If you take someone that is from south america, do you think the majority would be able to understand everything you said? Damn no!! That is what makes you German so sufficient...Please be more humble in order not to make another war like Russians guys did (Russians are the best programmers in the world...).
PS: I would only be able to respond to half the questions you have set about cars, I am not on your level, I am an artisan, but I am very good in painting in Churches for example. Also, I was only trying to convince, not to impose my views, i'm just a regular being.

End of development

Stopping Wii U development cause of way to many memory issues and no available memory debugger. It's just way to frustating when you code for more than 2+ years and then get bitten by such stuff. Codebase of NUSspli + all involved libraries is way to big to debug without tools like Valgrind but it seem we'll never have them availabe on the Wii U.

Sad to see but that's completely your choice and I wont impose against that, the frustration is completely understandable as debugging is imperative to most projects, and to simply not have those tools available can put a huge hindrance on the project. I understand where you're coming from and I hope you deal with less stress now that the project is discontinued. Hope you have a good day.

So sad to see a very good homebrew being canceled, but, there really was no other choice, hopefully someone can pick up your work and continue where you left off when all the issues in the libraries are fixed or better debugging tools are made

@V10lator I know you're an excellent developer just based on the little bit of work that we've done together. It's unfortunate that the WiiU scene hasn't matured into it's full potential at this point. I'm almost never on here anymore but I still hope to see you around.

I've never used it (have everything I need which wasn't much), but I thank you nonetheless.

The 32GB Deluxe Set has approximately 25GB available for data storage and downloads.+ 512MB for vwii
That means....where did the 6,5GB go?? Is there no way to improve data storage?
So WiiU FTP Server can help clean our wiiU? But, is there no "local" tool that can clean a wiiu?
I know it's a bit of a late reply but theoretically whenever we buy any kind of storage we don't get that full amount it's like you buy an advertised 1TB PS4 you load it up and say you get 890GB or whatever thing is OS takes a chunk, reservation Storage, and so on but why don't consoles etc .. you buy for instance have a reservation Storage even if it was 128GB for instance and allow people to squeeze more space out of the storage they pay for.

128GB would potentially be enough for OS, Updates, and few other things

Also I've noticed the more storage you buy the more it's taken off you like a 4TB drive isn't a 4TB drive but something like 3.63TB
2TB is 1.81TB
1TB 980 Pro NVME drive is 931GB - 930GB

Will happily give this a try thank you as I recently tried to download MK8 but it boots up goes to get to menu then crashes so I'm assuming it's corrupted file somewhere

@danny19901 Great explaination, thanks for that. :) Just a few addings: The reason it's the more space the bigger the HDD is MiB vs MB (that's pure marketing lie bs) and, as told before: Filesystem overhead. For example: The larger the HDD the more reserved space (as that's taken in percentage with most filesystems), the more superblock backups and so on.

BTW, to all: I'll still be here on the forums but as a user, not as a developer.

I appreciate all your hard work NUSspli is an amazing tool hopefully one day you may return to try work on it or someone contributes to the project but either way it's pretty amazing and handy to have anyway I've seen you popping around here and there and all your contributions etc ... Are massively appreciated

I actually saw this the day you released it, followed instructions such as placing the 00_Mocha.rpx in the correct loacation (just overwrote my old one) and it works! HBL anyways, just wanted to say though Channel is unable to be used as it gives the error "No support for rebrands" Not an issue in my case since I prefer HBL but a friend of mine noticed it and wanted me to say something.

Sorry for that, but the channel version might as well be deprecated, we did all testing in the hbl version for obvious reason

No problem, but you should probably state that in the releases section as some people seem to prefer to Channel version ( no idea why ). But like I said it wasn't an issue for me specifically since I actually prefer the HBL version

@Xpl0itU not an issue, just wondering. Did the v1.96 version you released disable support for installs / downloads to USB? Can't seem to find that option anymore‎‎
Uh, no, you just have to press iirc minus to switch where to download and look at the third option text (only download to...) to know where you’ll be downloading

Actually did this, remembering from the other versions. However only NAND and SD show, USB is no longer showing as an option, nor there even being a third one. Just NAND and USB. Not sure if this is an issue on my end specifically or the build you released..

Edit: Gonna mess around with it a bit, because I'm more willing to bet it's an issue on MY end, and not anyone else's

Yeah I think it’s you fault because for me it works just fine, I’ll try again just in case, but it works
Edit: yes, it works just fine, tried it again

It's both of these things. Bigger disks need more filesystem (did you know that PS1 memory cards are actually 16 blocks? Block 0 is used for the filesystem!) and more error checking. Also, kibibytes are 24 bytes bigger than kilobytes, and that adds up when things are misabbreviated.

The extra thing that you apparently need 404s when you click on it, mate.
