Hello guys, is there anyone who could repair my switch? I cleaned the thermal paste and I checked the my sd card wont read anymore. So I opened the switch again and saw that 2 Pins are broken. I tried to back it up to the slots but I lost them. I hope someone could repair it. I would send it to someone who is trusted here if its allowed to. I'm living in germany so I hope that isn a problem :c

The zif socket on the nobo or the SD card reader itself?

I installed with a wire DATA2 to the SD Card reader. The Connector beside of DATA2 which is a GND is broken too. If I only let the wire to DATA2 to the SD Card reader, Hekate says that the card reader itself is on a 1-Bit mode because there is a connector lose

okay I fucked it up. Is there a way to replace the socket from the motherboard?

You need to replace the FPC connector.

They are pretty cheap even for a one time purchase on eBay.

Here’s the process if you’re equipped and skilled enough to do some micro soldering.

If you aren’t up for it, any competent electronics/cellphone repair place should be able to get you sorted.

hmm I would try it. I have an heat gun, solder station. But I dont know how many degrees should I take to use the heat gun. The Solderstation needs to be on 350 Degrees to solder perfectly. Or am I wrong?

At about 1:40 in the video he mentions coming in at 470 degrees with his hot air.

hello, its me again. The repair store tried to fix the connector but they failed. They tried to replace the FPC Connector and tried to get some jumper cables from the mainboard to the sd card reader but it wont work either. They also said that the mainboard got a short circuit on the mainboard. Is there a way to repair it by myself somehow? Maybe they damaged a resistor. I dont own an multimeter and I need the know-how to use it properly to find the short circuit on the mainboard
