Hey guys! I'm partnering up with Jornmann to make a Wii menu theme that is based off the USBLoaderGX theme called "Synthwiive" by D-CEPTICON. I have run into a couple issues:

First, for the settings page, I am very happy with the background, but the settings icons have two issues. I made them to be semi transparent, but they just show up gray. In addition, the old text still shows up despite it being a completely new picture.

Second, there is a weird pink glow on the left when on any page other than the first one.

Pictures are attached, any help is greatly appreciated! Feel free to DM me in Discord for more details, Binski#7052

Cheers :)

you need to edit the ipl_common_noe.bmg file to remove the old text.
you will need to edit the it_ObjSetUp_a.brlyt from the setupsel arc to make the images semi transparent
i have had the issue with the glow before but i cant remember what was the fix what base did you start with ?
it will be part of the chansel arc im sure its in the my_IplTop_a.brlyt
please message me if i can be of more help to you

Hi! I was wondering if anyone has this image but the pure background image without the bars, or if anyone knows how can i extract it from the .mym file. I want to use it to do a custom theme for Switch. Thanks in advance!

Hi. I'm working on making a custom Wii menu theme. I'm using the Wii Theme Team base pack folder and I'm trying to change this image. It's the image for the empty channel slot with the static. I changed it with a GIF I made that has 40 frames, but when I install the theme with My Menuify, it only plays the first 4 frames. I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to change the number of frames for this image, or if that isn't possible with the Wii Theme Team Base pack. Can someone please let me know?

If you can get the frame count down to 36 frames I have the files needed that you need to add
there are a few changes that you will need to make to the base pack ini file to get it working
you need to replace the lines starting with simg3014 through simg3017 with all the simg lines from this new ini
you need to add the sdta3002 from this new ini to the base ini
you need to copy the brlyt folder from this zip to the base pack
and ensure your images are named frame01 frame02 and so on

please message me if you have any problems

hey guys, been years of not doing anything with my wii, but last weekend I took it from the attic and replaced my dvd drive so I have a fully working Wii again, but sadly I noticed I was lacking backups from a few of the themes I once made for the Wii...

Is there anybody who still has a backup of my Flower Power and my Final Fantasy themes?

Ok, I tried the steps you gave me, and it only shows the first frame for the image. I made sure the frame count was 36, I changed the lines starting from simg3014 and added all the lines from your ini file up to simg3049, and I also added the sdta3002 file to the base. And as for the brlyt, there was just one file in it, so I added it to the other files in the base folder for fear that my Wii might brick without all those other files. Other than that, the only thing I didn't do was change the dimensions of the image to match what was in your ini.

Your best bet would be to use FFMPEG to create a GIF file.
