Xbox One X Motherboard EG24 value

Wondering if anyone knows what part # or what this could be? It's right behind the HDMI Port on the Xbox Series X and been unable to find a value or what it could be.

If anyone has any input, it would be greatly appreciated.

Based on the markings it looks like a simple smd fuse - you should be able to bridge it with no issues and it should work. Have done this on a customers console

Don't do that though, because if there is a shortcircuit on the board, it will burn

why would there be a short circuit across and unpopulated hdmi port? it wouldnt have one. check for continuity and if it passes it will be fine. If you follow the pinout you can see it goes back to GND and have just checked this across a series X i have here.

If the fuse is blown can mean that it suffererd an overvoltage, so is better to replace it just in case

Thank you all. However, it's not a fuse, have another one apart that works fine, to inspect and compare. It's not bridged like a fuse would be typically. but I think it has something to do with short circuit prevention etc from HDMI. just not sure what. Gonna check a few other boards around to see if I can match it out.

it's a diode, just in a different package (0402, and not something like SOD-123 that you would normally expect for the diode to look like). For ESD purposes only, the absence of this component doesn't make any difference to the video signal output, especially because it's for the Pin 14, which is not utilized anyway

interesting, + thank you. I found the same looking one on an Xbox 1S board, wonder if there is an orientation on how it goes on. I will give it a shot. thank you everyone.

they don't have orientation, these are bi-directional voltage suppressor diodes

Excellent. Thanks a lot. Yeah was able to source this same piece from an XB 1S board near one of the USB assemblies in the back. part worked just fine and everything is working. Probably don't need it on the board, but wanted it there just incase. Was a failed previous repair with a bunch of parts missing.

Where i can find diode values for hdmi port? How can i test if this diode is good or not? Its working fine on my pc monitor after replaced the port, but when customer got home and connect to his projector/tv, he get no signal.
