I already fiddle this game long time ago, since the game just got released I can not find a dump of it. If you can find a decrypted dump of the game let me know and I will check out what I can do

There are a few recent post here about a real fan translation and not ports, they may be visual novels but still a translation.
I was after Seven Pirates but I figured out there are more interesting Japanese titles which can be candidate for English patch this game is English on PC. Actually this was the reason why I asked you if having the English game on PC makes it easier but still finding Vita's font files is the difficult part.
it could be possible but not without alot of work changing certain bits of text so it doesn't say things that point out controls from the switch port.
It wouldn’t bother me if the button layout stayed the same, I’ve played unofficial ports and translations that didn’t change buttons and managed just fine.

@Xdqwerty, Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! is the Japanese version of the game, different settings/characters/songs but otherwise identical mechanics. I played that before I knew about Elite Beat Agents lol. Both fantastic games https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osu!_Tatakae!_Ouendan+1 -
