A big name actor, for a good game does not make. But seriously, this game doesn't even seem fun, it just comes off as weird. And not really weird in a good way from the trailers I've seen, just weird.

If it weren't for the Kojima's fame and past reputation, this game would be complete unknown by most gamers. The regular version seems awful, while this director's cut seems much better, but I never got to play any of those.
Then how do you know if you didn't play any of them? DC is just the same with additional contents, I platinumed both of them.

Once you play the game you may understand why people like it. It might not seem very interesting but it gets you hooked once you start playing it and take the "job" seriously. It's a fun game with fun mechanics and an interesting story if you like reading that is. Most of the deeper plot is hidden in the games messages that you unlock while playing it.

Once you get past the game tutorial the game really opens up and comes into its own and the story as per all Kojima games is really interesting.

The game was fucking awesome. 74 total hours I had when I finished. I cannot wait to play again and possibly 100% the directors cut.

MGS 5 wasn't really "fun" either but listening to all the tapes was fascinating and I liked the game a lot. I'm going to get this for my Steam Deck, whenever I get a chance to buy *that*.

One of the worst games I have ever "played". I gave it a fair chance but after 5 hours it was actually stressful to play. The opposite of what games should be. I know people say it gets going after 10 hours, but no game should do that. Period.

Also its so cringe.

LMFAO at the "Trekking and Delivery Simulator" bit. First time I've heard Deathstranding referred that way coz it's mostly a called Walking Simulator.

What's more hilarious is that its quoted source is GBAtemp's inbox, meaning the quote is from Sony's Press Release. Lol therefore Sony actually know deathstranding ain't no game, its just a Walking sim... no a Trekking Delivery sim.

Only way I ever get to play this game is if I get it for free, no way am ever gonna buy this.

I added the "Trekking and Delivery Simulator" bit XD the general source of the information (release, pricing) is from the inbox :)

It’s actually really good, but also completely unique.
