'Crysis 4' announced

Following an apparent leak from Crytek China, Crytek took to Twitter to confirm that it is working on the next installment of its iconic Crysis series. The announcement also featured a teaser trailer which you can see below:

Not much can be seen in terms of gameplay and it just seems to confirm the existence of the next Crysis game. Indeed, in a blog post following the announcement, Crytek CEO Avni Yerli said: "It’s something you have been asking us for a long time, so it’s now finally time to confirm – yes, the next Crysis game is happening!"

Yerli also mentioned that the game is in the early stages of development and that it will be "a while" before they share more details. "ut we wanted to bring you the news at this time as we are so hyped for the future, and to let you know that we will be listening to our community," says the CEO.

Cool, finally a new Crysis on Next Gen, Crysis 2 and 3 looked very good on my Ps3 so I guess Crysis 4 on Ps5 would be stunning. I think it's time for me to pony up for a Ps5, But can it run Crysis?

I don't get the hate here. Crysis is most remembered as being an unofficial PC benchmark, but it was actually a very good, very fun game. It was basically an open world physics sandbox. I loved it.

Don't remember much about Crysis 2 or 3 though, so maybe those sucked. But 1 is definitely a good game that still looks good to this day.

I have no hope for Crytek, so don't know what to expect from a Crysis 4. Probably not great, but you never know.

Totally expected given the fact that they’ve just remastered the entire trilogy for every platform including toasters. Good - that’s how studios should approach “reviving” old IP’s - give the current player base a chance to have a taste, test the waters, then release a sequel.

Nobody blasphemes against my boy Masterful Chef. 9 warning points, 6 months suspension. The original Halo is one of the GOAT’s, it literally reinvented the entire genre, and the story had a great twist. The Library is still one of the best levels in a game, ever.
Not because of its design, which is very monotone, but due to the Flood’s reveal. It’s designed to drag on specifically because it’s supposed to build tension - it’s level-plot interplay, and it works. People who don’t get that are cavemen, Bungie struck good so shiny it blinds the average man.
Go play Halo, heathen.

German engineering is back on the menu boys.
I love every Crysis game, will be a day one buy for me if not an pre-order.
Don't care if I still have a GTX 970.

C'mon... you're bringing a console to a pc fight. Console doesn't have epic games trying to buy all the games to itself... what i said apply to pc. On pc there's no crysis trilogy remaster on origin or steam, just on the wannabe store.

Same though, had the best time with the Halo franchise playing both Multiplayer and the Singleplayer!
