Hey, my Metroid Zero Mission game pak's internals are that of an FeRAM reprint's, like what is shown in this stock photo, yet I still have an SRAM-esque issue where the game just suddenly stopped maintain a save for more than a few hours. Does this mean that there's internal damage in my gba pak?

FeRAM has a limited amount of read-write cycles. Typical FeRAM can't be simply 'read' without the values being written again. I think the save chip is worn-out, and has become too volatile to maintain a save.

ehhhh....Feram, also known as Fram, which we are using on EZ-FLASH OMEGA Definitive Edition. According to the official datasheet, there is a 10^14 read/write lifetime.

It's unlikely you will destroy any FeRAM in your life time. They can however still break due to manufacturing errors, static (ESD) or physical damage.
