Lower firmwares not working on 9.00 goldhen

Hi and thanks for reading. Am using goldhen on 9.00. When i go into homebrew it also gives me the option of lower firmwares such as 5.05 and 6.72 which i select as i want to use lapy pkg extractor which is not compatabile with 9.00
But the lower firmwares do not work at all. Have you noticed this problem.

that is normal. nothing you can do about it right now.

Those are firmware options based on what firmware (you have). 9.00 has greater stability and latest PS4 game compatibiliy, however homebrew support is very lacking compared to 5.05. So far only the important ones will/have get ported to 9.00

Are there any package extractors at all for 9.00 firmware

You just have to wait. Each update brings new offsets, each app creator needs to update their tools with these offsets.

You dont need to use Easy PKG Extractor.
You can backup/copy your installed PKGs to USB using FTP or Lapy's PS4 Explorer.

Path for the main game PKG:
/user/app/CUSAXXXXX/app.pkg

Path for game updates:
/user/patch/CUSAXXXXX/patch.pkg

Path for DLC:
/user/addcont/CUSAXXXXX/xxxxxxxx/ac.pkg

Path to your USB Drive to copy the PKGs to:
/mnt/usb0 or /mnt/usb1

Did this work for you man? I've tried it using the PS4 Explorer method, and what i got is just "You haven't copied or cut anything to paste" message only.

I think other people have had this same problem using PS4 Explorer too. The regular FTP method works though.
