Wifi is switched off in VWii mode, so Wiimmfi does not work Mario Kart Wii Online, is it still possible somehow?

I don't know anything about getting old games to work online (if the servers are down). however, wifi does work in vwii mode. try signing into the eshop. you can still get in, but there will be a message at the bottom that the store has been closed. if you get that message, then wifi is working.

Wiimmfi is a thing
Technically he needs only to turn on his wifi, either patch the iso for the wiimmfi servers or using a real disk for custom tracks. Wii Injection doesn't work with wiimmfi. Through the wii u menu i mean.

Virtual Console mode doesn't support https, which mario kart requires with the new patch, because executable code is downloaded and executed every time you connect, and they don't want to do that without securing it with normal http.
I always turn on the Wii Internet with Connect Mii in VWii mode and then when I start Wii u mode the internet goes off automatically, because when I start Mkwii that I have patched with Wimmfi, an error code comes up with Injection not USB Loader or others
