Yuzu run games better for now I believe, Ryujinx is catching up but it focuses on accuracy rather than just playing games
So I would suggest Yuzu. Not only that but I also found Yuzu to be easier to setup, I had some problems with Ryujinx recently and I couldn't figure out to run it despite it running fine before, but Yuzu is working pretty good so far

Ryujinx do have some wireless support tho so I guess it's better if you want to play with friends (if you don't want to play « locally » with Parsec I suppose)

In short, your interest is playing games, for now I would suggest Yuzu, maybe in a few years Ryujinx will be top notch tho

Your specs should be enough to run some games but remember that at least Yuzu (haven't used the other one) is not download and play because nsp are encrypted so you need Prod.keys and Title.keys from an actual switch console to be able to run games.

I tried both emulators on mario 3D world bowser fury but I got a lot of freezes (like every 5 seconds). But according to this video, it work well on my config.
Am I missing something ?

By September 2021 Yuzu runs cat quest at 23fps after lots of crashes but suddenly it opened the game without crashing

But ryujinx is running it at full speed with the default config!!! At the first attempt!!!!! :yayswitch::rofl2:

Hello, question about emulators on my laptop (high-end Intel Surface Laptop 4):

OS: Windows 11
CPU/GPU: Intel Quad-core Tiger Lake i7-1185G7 (4 cores, Tiger Lake 3.00-4.8GHz) with Intel’s Iris Xe/Iris Plus Graphics 950
RAM: 16GB LPDDR4x-4266

I am using Ryujinx instead of Yuzu because I got better results in all the games that I've tried. I know that integrated graphics is not great for gaming but I don't have another computer and I am wondering if there is something I can do to improve frames per second on this one.

For instance, Link's Awakening runs around 20fps with stuttering instead of 60. CPU is around 33% and GPU around 66% according to Task Manager. I have turned the "high performance graphics" for Ryujinx and Windows Game Mode on already.

So what can I do to make games playable (I'm almost there!) and is there any Ryujinx developer around here to confirm that further optimisations are still possible, so the same games will run better on the same laptops in a few months?

Thank you all.

Is this something that runs pretty well after the initial setup for a long while?
Like if I do the initial setup it's fairly easy to get game updates and/or DLC and switch back to using it on the Console if desired?

Are both of these pretty easy to Update and/or Install DLC after Initial Setup and to switch back and forth to the Console?

Yep, saves, files etc are really just the same, I wanted to play Dread on my PC and I just took my save on console and transfered it on Yuzu and did the same for all my biggest Switch games, pretty ez

I'm using Yuzu right now, and it runs pretty well. Link's Awakening runs on 28 fps average and 60 fps while inside the house.. pretty solid. Ryujinx, however, only on main menu, when I tried it inside the game, it's black screen. In the main menu, Ryujinx have <30 fps. To achieve constant fps, I'm using BES (Battle Encoder Shiraise)

My spec:
Intel i5 8265U 1.6 GHz, Turbo Boost 3.9 GHz
Nvidia MX230 2 GB Vram DDR5
12 GB DDR4 RAM 2300 MHz
