@GaryOderNichts , I just tried your new version of bloopair for tiramisu. still same problem, the dual sense reports low battery every now and then. I could let you borrow the dual sense that came with my ps5, but you'd have to send it back. this is all to get this issue fixed as I bought the purple dual sense specifically for the wii u.
Thanks for the offer, I was able to get access to a DualSense from a friend and fixed the issue.

I think @BaamAlex is the one who mentioned it on github. I'm testing it now. I had a low battery warning from the start, but I think the controller is actually low on battery. that's the thing I don't like about playstation controllers, battery life is lousy. I have it charging as I play, which didn't work on the previous version. so far, it shows that it's charging every time I've looked at the battery indicator, so I think this is working. I'll let you know if I have any problems. thanks again!

The thing is, when the battery is almost empty, the indicator shows the real "value". That's what i experienced today. I had to charge my controller. And the controller was really empty.

I'm going to see what happens with my controller in about thirty minutes. that should be enough time. been playing the wii u with it charging, so I'll see happens when I disconnect the controller. speaking of which, I have the galactic purple controller, kinda wish it had been called galactic grape. haha

if you mean a mod to the ps5, I don't. I plan to use starlight blue's. that's my favorite color of the set, but they're sold out of almost all of them.

Sorry, looks like I missed the comments below since GBATemp didn't send me notifications for this thread for some reason-
This looks really cool to use, but I only have joycons as my non-wii u controllers, rendering some games unplayable due to the missing buttons- ngl being able to switch to dual joycons would be much better, if it’s even possible lol
Dual-JoyCons might be supported in the future. It's a bit more complicated to implement though, since they both show up as individual devices.

Wil Balance Board disconnects every minute when Bloopair is active.

With Tiramisu, since it boots when booting the console (which is wonderful), I have to take the micro SD card off for the balance Board to work.

Just asking if a fix would be possible or it's easier to simply take the micro SD before turning on the console whenever I want to use the Wii Balance Board.
I don't have a Balance Board, but I assumed it behaved similarly to the other official controllers.
I guess I'll have to take a look at this, thanks for reporting.

I tried the tiramisu module and I am finding random controller disconections. Specially if I launch vWii and try to play with original wiimotes to wii games.

Tried pairing a DS4 and also disconnects randomly. Is not as severe as the wiimote did not stayed connected more than a couple of minutes.
Bloopair won't work in vWii, but there shouldn't be any disconnects while playing a Wii U game.
Make sure your controllers are fully charged.

Any chance of this supporting the Power A GameCube controllers for the Switch? Especially in vWii mode so you can use it for actual GameCube games?
All the switch controllers should be supported in Wii U mode.
Bloopair won't work in vWii though.

yeah, I'm using bloopair to get used to the ps5 controller, which is somewhat long compared with the series x controller/switch pro controller. it's working out nicely. no disconnects with it, and it connects quickly. :) I'm not sure if it's the game, but I do notice that the controller loses connection with super mario 3d land, but I think that may be normal, just don't remember. pressing the ps button resyncs it to the console though, so it's not much of an issue.

just starting it. I think it's normal even with legit controllers. the controller simply turns off, and you have to press the ps button again. it's no big deal, and like I said, I think it's the way the game normally works.

Yeah, that's normal, even with official pro controllers. Some games do that.

I am not able to confirm this issue on my end. I just played several rounds of Wii Fit Plus on my Balance Board with no disconnects in sight. It's worth mentioning that the Balance Board only stays connected while playing Wii Fit Plus--if I try to connect in the Wii U Menu, the console drops the connection (since the Wii U Menu has no use for Balance Boards). What are you doing on the Wii U when you encounter this issue?

As Gary kind of implied, the Wii Balance Board is just a big weird Wiimote, like other Wii/U controllers, so it really should "just work". As far as the Wii/U is concerned, it essentially behaves like a Wiimote with a Balance Board "in the extension port", like a Nunchuk, Classic Controller, etc. This is also exactly how the Wii U Pro Controller works, it's a Wiimote with a WUPC "in the extension port", so it would be odd for the Balance Board to be affected differently.

It disconnects every minute while using Wii Fit Plus.

Maybe Tiramisu is causing the error. I will test with standalone Bloopair from Haxchi.

Hello guys,

A lot of time has passed since I updated my WiiU homebrew.

Bloodpair seems like nice new feature. It would be really nice to cut controller count from my setup and use PS3 controllers as Wii U pro controllers. Currently I use fake Wii U controllers for Wii U multiplayer games, but they do not work with Nintendont and Wii U homebrew.

I have few questions. Currently I have Haxchi setup.

Do I need to upgrade to Tiramisu for this? Any advantages using this with Tiramisu setup over Haxchi?
Does Bloodpair work after boot or I need to run app every time I want to pair controller?
Does homebrew apps like Retroarch work with Bloodpair automatically or only native games are supported?
Does it work properly with multiple controllers? For example I have 4 DS3 controllers can 4 players use them to play?
Does Gamecube/Wii games single/multiplayer work with it?

Make sure your controllers are fully charged.
I found it is Breath of the Wild specifically with the DS4 fully charged. The thing with vWii is the wiimote disconects only if the bloopair module is up. I have to update the whole enchilada tho.

I think there is some... magic thing Botw may do in pro controller mode that messes up bloopair.
I personally made sure the hdd is away from the Wii U.

EDIT: Gee the wiimote also disconnects without bloopair. Disregard that part. Sorry. The DS4 thing still applies tho.
