Wii U Memory Failure 160-0103 (never modded)

Regarding this same error 160-0103, and as I also have a damaged NAND Wii U, I've seen a vid about the replacement of a Wii U CPU + NAND into another Wii U's CPU + NAND so to fix the issue; but as distracted as I am, I can't find that very same vid again.

I'm willing to try and fix my Wii U. I'm very interested in every possible solution out there -if any-.

Where a hardmod is described -it's not a tutorial-, but I will take the chance and try it as some other users have confirmed it to work. But as the NAND is corrupted/damaged, I don't know how would I go into fixing it so to load it again on the Wii U.

More information is required.

By the Way,the Repair Page changes from .at to .com when I choose "other Devices" on the Nintendo Austrian Repair Service Site.

I didn't find a sign in the repair list that it MUST BE a PAL or NTSC Device.
In the worst case, you have to pay 8 euros (for the Shipment) for the return of your unrepaired device.
I am pretty sure that they will not "punish" you with the minimum repair flat rate of 57.50 euros.

But of course I can't guarantee that, who knows Nintendo's thoughts .....

The difficulty is registering without a German address. The only country options available for selection are Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. There is no way to enter USA as an address. My US Nintendo account doesn't seem to work on the German site either.

You'd probably spend more sending it in for repair than buying another used console.

In your situation I would buy a 2nd hand console only (which should be far less expensive then a complete set)

Yes, I will probably go that route. Of course I plan keep the old console in case I can find a solution or someone comes up with a way to obtain either a good copy of the NAND or the otp.bin key file.

iFixit also appears to sell used Wii U motherboards along with the paired optical drive. However, replacing the internals would result in a serial number mismatch between the motherboard and sticker.

think serial number is in the sysprod.xml of the config folder on root of slc iirc. you can modify it, but I don't know if that will make it work.
