can those controllers work on wii at all?
they use usb-c unlike the snes and nes classic controllers
they are bt controllers they work through bt not wired so yeah you will probably need to hack it into the bt module since they arent there.

there is a wiiu homebrew that the name escapes me where they putted bt compatible switch pro controller, xbox one and ps5 controllers to mimik wiiu pro controllers or wiiu gamepad.

buuuuuut.....can it run goldfinger 64?
You'll need to try, since it's a romhack of GoldenEye 007 for N64.

GoldenEye X (another romhack of G007 64) is known to have slowdown when there are too many bots, and when playing multi-player spilt screen, the screen will flash in white unless ou turn on FB textures, but it tends to lock up the game.

WHAT?

Not64 is still alive???
Thanks a lot for telling us this new update @pedro702! :)
And also thanks @Extrems for this great update!

Changelog of v20211116:
Quoted from https://github.com/extremscorner/not64/releases/tag/20211116:
- A re-release for addressing issues with the GC Loader.
If i have the time i will update my SRL of Not64 with this new version. :D

EDIT: Wait, the changelog says that this re-release address issues with the GC Loader.
What it does REALLY mean? (I think for fix some issues with the GC loader or what? I don't know :P )

guessing its a gc only thing to load homebrew or something and not64 was never dead, extrems only releases a couple updates every years but they never stopped...

Is there actually a Forwarding channel so that you can start Not64 from the Wii U menu?
Haven‘t found anything so far.
could it be realized through hbl2hbc though?
thank you

You can use TeconMoon's WiiVC injector to create WiiU forwarder WUP packages that point to a Wii Homebrew boot.dol.

Not by default I don't believe, I don't really use it for N64 or SNES (I use WiiU VC inject for those), just Sega stuff that doesn't need an OCed vWii.
i remember that Wii64/Not64 and WiiSX RX got benefitied by vWii overclocking when combining Wii U forwarders to Wii homebrew and sign_c2w_patcher, but i don't know how to do that kind of stuff for Wii U.

there is a check on tecmon if i recall that you put to allow the channel to be overclocked its one of the settings before making the channel or something.

@pedro702

Is Not64's emulation speed really affected by the vWii overclocking with cafe2wii function (sign_c2w_patcher)?

Because i've tested what happens to emulated N64 games on Not64 when running on overclocked vWii (of Wii U of course) but i didn't see anything of difference (but on WiiSX RX, on game Tekken 3 without frameskipping, comparing original Wii with overclocked vWii where it runs almost flawlessly).

Or i'm missing something for play smoother some N64 games on Not64 on overclocked vWii?

there is the cpu clock divider option on the settings

use 1 to get full best speed when overclocked.

be advised some games work best with overclock and regular cpu clock divider set to 2 becuase even with overclock the wiiu cant get enough speed to run them smoother.while some games require overclock and cpu clock divider set to 1 to get better and 3 is gc speed btw.

both not64 and wii64(beta emukid posted on github like 1+ years ago ) have this option.

Oh okay @pedro702 i will try this later.

By now i'm trying hard to modify a bit Not64's source code for add DRC (Wii U GamePad) support since it's lacking in Not64 but not Wii64. Thanks! :)
