It's been awhile when I modded a Xbox, but did you flash the right firmware on your Xbox? If I remember it correctly there are different versions for the different Xbox models.

I've seen this video a few days ago, maybe you can find your answer in this video.

well i fixed the buzzing issue by reconnecting the dvd drive but now 2 issues

1) my xbox displays error 07 (using sata to ide board for the hdd) 07 means hdd timeout but the drives aren't bad as they can be read and written to by fatxplorer 3.0 (tested multiple times) even my ssd displays 07 and that can be read the ide cable is securly snug in the mobo and both drives the yellow power cable is plugged into the dvd drive too

2) pushing the eject button makes it flash but the drive doesn't eject (can wait on this issue since i ordered a non xbox ide dvd drive (meaning i can't read official disc nor eject/ hot disc detection will work (must insert the burned media into the drive and power cycle to get it to read)

I had an "strange" issue last Night with an Samsung SSD on the PC.
After Hours of testing and searching,I found that the SSD was in a "Freezed State".
SSD was recognized from PC,I can access it but when it comes to Writing Access, the SSD is very, very slow/not responding.
After removeing/reconnecting the SATA Cable during the PC is running and used then the Samsung Magician Tool to made it "Fresh/New",the SSD is working again properly.

I hope, this maybe can help you in some Way.

Good Luck.😉
