Removed old thermal paste and added new --> stuck at Switch boot logo

I did not remove the cap. I removed the metal casing which sits around the cpu and memory.
The cap must have come off by accident.

I would take to a Electronics repair place to get fixed, or find a buddy that is trained. Don't just give up or throw out!

I would like to thank you all for helping me out!
Without you all I would have thought my Switch was dead as Christopher Columbus.

I went to a Console Repair shop today and they fixed the little cap that I accidently broke.

All is good again!
