I've edited the previous posts with test and I've managed to get all the wiiware games I have working without needing neek2o, except Castlevania ReBirth (I'll install it on the console).

But they only worked for me with Nand - Complete Emulation enabled.

Question for the people… what is the absolutely most minimal way to create an emunand for Wiiflow? My goal is to install more virtual console titles that can be simultaneously available in Wiiflow on my vWii. That's it. I don't need or want to change anything else.

I have tried this by creating just these folders:

/vwiinands/
/vwiinands/default
/vwiinands/default/shared1
/vwiinands/default/sys
/vwiinands/default/ticket
/vwiinands/default/title

Do I need anything else in order for this work?

Hello, I'm wandering if it's possible to launch a .dol from a button in source menu.Is it possible?
It would be nice to have a button to just launch WiiMC or any other hb

yes.
just add autoboot=x to plugin button.

for wii, GC, and channels set x to the game ID

for Homebrew apps set x to the folder name or if you use custom titles use the custom title.

for plugins set x to the roms filename or if you use custom titles use the custom title or if you are using the plugins database title use it. if unsure then browse your covers and then note the title that appears with that cover and that will be the one to use.

Thank you for your answer, Fledge.
For the Homebrew apps, they should be in the apps folder in the root of my SD?Or in my case, since I'm using the Shima theme, in the plugins folder inside wiiflow folder?
can you give me a example, if thats not asking too much of course.
Thank you again!

if you are just wanting to launch wiimc then you will need the wiimc in the apps folder (dev:/apps/wiimc/boot.dol) and make sure it shows up when you view your homebrew apps in coverflow. now add a homebrew button to your source menu ini like this:

[BUTTON_3]
image=Homebrew.png
image_s=Homebrewb.png
title=WiiMC
source=homebrew
autoboot=wiimc

now when you click that button/cover in source menu/flow it will auto boot the wiimc app.

alternatively if you have wiimc in your homebrew coverflow you could always just hold B and press A while pointing at the wiimc cover and it will go straight to booting wiimc.

Oh yes, now I get it! Makes total sense now, the "autoboot" is related to a "entry" in the "source".
Thank you very much, Fledge. One step closer to finishing my own theme now

Hello, sorry for the double post.
Here it is, a preview of the theme I'm working on.The aim is to make a theme that celebrates the amazing capabilities of the Wii (thanks to the work of the great people of this forum, and others) as a retro emulation machine.

Since the 240p is one of the main reasons I think we all like it the most, I decided to celebrate the pixel art, and the Wii theme.It sure it's not the most wise decision, since it will look blurry, I can or not change some decisions I've made about it so far.

It was a long way to get confortable with Wiiflow configuration, but I found all the help i needed here.Thank to you all who helped me.
As I said, is just a little preview for now, and many things will be changed.

If anybody like it or want to know moret, I can give more details of my plans to it.

The theme is almost in a state where I can say I like it.Still need more polishing, but I think this is the way I'm going with it.

A few words:
It's gonna support most plugins in the pack organized by all you people here in the Forum.With some time all of them is possible.

Black and White version, 4:3 in mind since I use it for 240p gaming on a CRT. I'm gonna provide templates so people can contribute/make their own "buttons" and stuff. Probably gonna work on a 16:9 version too, but it's not priority (any TV can be set to 4:3 anyway). There will be a "clean" version, without those sprites/characters, with only the consoles/handhelds and etc. art.

The idea is to be a mix of the Wii menu look and the themes on those classic consoles.

Some homebrew apps/systems can be accessed directly by the main menu, others will direct you to another menu so you can select them (like the "retro" consoles menu)

The sprites (pixel art images) used are not made by me, is mostly stuff I found on the internet.I'm adjusting, cuting, editing and composing things visually. Very few things is 100% made by me. I think it's important to make this point as clear as possible, since I don't wanna credit over anybody work

-! All the artists who worked on the pixel art or anything else will be credited properly !-

Here are 15 screenshots!

Bad news, my living room tv just died.
My Wii power suply is bad for a while, it sends interference to my CRT, and just now i was hearing some noises on it and after a look I found the tube glowing while it was off, so i removed it from the power source.I Think this new place I'm living is with some eletricity problem, I'm sure actually.
My PC monitor kinda lose signal (from HDMI) a lot when the washing machine is on.I will definetly not plug my Wii on my PC monitor with a faulty power supply or in my CRT anymore :(
At this point, I fear for my PC and monitor.I'm from Brazil and things here are all expensive, I do not work for a good time now, so if something goes dead I'm screwed x.x

I'm gonna cotinue to work on the images, but will not be able to test/configure things on Wii side.Too bad, I was so excited with this.

Anyway, here are the new Black/White "Main Menu" tier background, It's the one that goes in the main source menu.And the white "Retro Consoles" tier background

That sucks. Hopefully you get things worked out my friend.
Thank you, @RunningSnakes. Everything should be ok soon.

Just one more preview, black version of the Retro Consoles menu, with clean version and sprites version.

ps edit :Some space needed to be lost so people with CRT who don't display overscan (like myself) wont lose much and won't need to adjust anything via Wiiflow menu.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I know this is both off-topic, and you probably already know this, but just in case you don't…

If you can afford some basic power conditioning, it can help extend the life of electronics. Cheap power surge protectors make a difference, but they have a limited lifespan, and likely need to be replaced often with bad power. Any kind of more aggressive voltage regulator can be a better investment for protecting your old or sensitive electronics if you have really bad power.

Please feel free to PM me if you want to know more. And again, my sympathies, first and foremost.

Thank you for the tip!
For now, I will probably buy a "Stabilizer". Not sure how they are called in english, but it's very common here in brazil.I never experienced a building with bad power before.We were living in another apartment in the same building and the power there was also bad.
Btw here is the "Stabilizer" we use around here, theres a fuse on it so if anything goes really bad the fuse dies and protect what is pluged on it

Link

And again, thank you. This situation sucks a lot

YES! I believe a stabilizer and a regulator are essentially the same thing. Way better than a cheap power strip. It will try to correct the over/under voltage, and then blow the fuse if it cannot handle a surge. The first time I saw one of those, I was staying in a village in West Africa, where the power was so bad, that you could get electrocuted simply by walking too close to an outlet at the wrong moment. Crazy. Anyways, over the years I have really gotten into power conditioning. I too have an apartment with bad power, but honestly, it's all bad power. It's just a matter of how bad is it…

Anyway, I hope that you are due for some good luck soon!

@fledge68, just wondering when compiling your latest Wiiflow 5.4.9, do you still use the older devkitppc r30 and libogc 1.8.19 or the latest versions?
