Hardware Anyone know where to get shell/housing for vita 1000/fat/oled??

I replaced a 3G shell from AliExpress. It did have 2 small imperfections that I fixed with a razor blade. The screen looks amazing and everything works well including the back touch.
You can only find black backs on AliExpress. I've tried ordering from everyone who says they have other colors and there aren't any left.
Vita Fronts, you can find Black, White, Red, Blue and Silver. They come with the screen installed or without. I suggest with.
On ebay I bought a blue back. They can be costly but the one I bought worked.
If you own a wifi you can use either wifi or 3g housing. If you have a 3g, you will have to use a 3G housing unless you want to remove plastic or components and aren't interested in using 3G.
If you are replacing the sticks without replacing the full module:

I Appreciate all the info!! What you said above seems logical, I was havifng a very rough time finding shit! I have a 3g vita, I am going to be taking out the modem and replacing it with the molecule micro sd board, IDK if that matters! I want white ideally, you seen that anywhere?
No new white backs, but yes fronts. Also the buttons are expensive if you want those...

Ebay you can keep searching for "vita parts", open those posts and you can sometimes select a back... They sell fast.
You will need a 3G back or you will have to cut a wifi back to make room for the micro sd adapter (psvsd) that you are installing. Or you can remove all the 3G stuff. Like this:
If you did remove the 3G pci you can still install the psvsd but you will have to solder it on with wires... Or you could install a regular usb thumb drive instead of psvsd.
I will have videos on hardwiring a psvsd to the pins and also alternatively installing a regular usb flash to the pins for internal storage. I'm not doing those videos for a couple weeks though.
Where does this place ship from?? I just want a full white shell for my fat, i could find blue and red on aliexpress but white was always sold out lol

The standard postal service takes 2-5 weeks, but commercial express delivery can be used.
That site scares me... Not even SSL encryption...
and supposedly have parts really cheap that you can't find anywhere else...
You could buy a japanese white vita thats in good condition and swap out the parts you want and resell the other vita as for parts or refurbished.
You could recoup most of your costs that way

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
