Could you separate the widescreen codes from the Swapping screen codes? I want to use the first ones in MelonDS and I don't want to swap screens.

Pragma's threads was made for emulators, but it doesn't have as many codes as this one.

Hey, it might be a dumb question but I was wondering wether or not it was possible to "reverse" the widescreen patch using cheats or a rom modification ?

See, I wanted to play Chrono Trigger but obviously as it is the case for games relying on 2D elements like Fire Emblem, we cannot have a proper widescreen hack. The issue is that it just stretch awfully games that clearly can't be played that way.
Obviously I can always remove the widescreen patch to play those games and repatch it later on but patching is a bit long each time.
So is there a way to force the original aspect ratio on games when running a widescreen patched 3DS ?
I know that RTcom activated widescreen will fix that but we still do not know when such a thing might happen yet

A bit hacky and glitchy but I think no one has hacked the game before to display in widescreen.

Use this custom Luma build (https://gbatemp.net/download/luma-10-2-1-with-redshift-and-quick-switchers.35619/), and swap different TwlBg.cxi files with QuickSwitcher. You won't need to repatch the file each time, just swapping will do the trick.

I tested the Face Pilot code on my 3DS using nds-bootstrap.
The top screen looks fine, but the bottom screen is squished.

Is there any way to make only the supported games play in widescreen on a flashcard, so the ones without 16:10 cheats won't be stretched?

Delete "TwlBg.cxi" at "sd:/luma/sysmodules/", re-follow the widescreen steps, and make sure Slot-1 SCFG and nds-bootstrap are turned on in TWLMenu++ Settings.

Use an application called TWPatch, which can be downloaded using Universal-Updater.

Not possible on DS/DSi. On 3DS, you can use TWPatch to activate it, but unfortunately, will revert after waking the console from sleep mode.
