1- Where is the best place to get themes for the system menu?

2- Whats the easiest way to make a wii system menu theme with minimal chances of bricking?

3- My usb drive is able to load gamecube games just fine through nintendont but its unable to load wii games on ULGX is this a problem of incomatibility with the drive or is it just a configuration problem?

1) This is a good resource for themes
http://theme.rc24.xyz/

Also here's an archive of themes I uploaded recently
https://gbatemp.net/threads/looking-for-wii-pirate-theme.601340/post-9628904

2) test it on an emulated nand. When installing to real nand, make sure you have priiloader, bootmii and a nand backup before installing and custom themes or channels

3) could be your softmods aren't up to date, please post a syscheck
https://gbatemp.net/threads/posting-a-system-check.300279/

You can also drag and drop your syscheck.csv onto modmii.exe and it will tell you how to best update your mods. Modmii can be found at modmii.github.io

Also make sure you're running the latest version of gx from @blackb0x 's signature

Syscheck looks good, the only change I'd make is installing a clean unpatched ios36, but not really super important
so it is probably just a compatibility issue then? if not i might just format the drive even tho its fat32 then throw the games over and try again

If everything is working with a different flash drive then it's definitely a compatibility issue. You could try formatting the drive as wbfs (using wii backup manager) instead of fat32. You would forgo many of the benefits of fat32, but it improves compatibility with flash drives. You could also try ntfs, but it's a little less stable when it comes to writing (reading is very stable)

Use https://wii.guide/themes instead for installing themes

Also nice job with uploading those themes, XFlak!

well thats not really my issue its more just that all other stuff works with the flash drive just fine but ulgx doesnt just black screens when loading a wii game through it
Oh! I miss read your post. You could try with Wiiflow then. Wbfs formatting should help too, otherwise just switch to an external hdd imo.
