I have been using USBLoaderGx to run some Wii games, but from the 5 games I tried, two of them didn't even load. I have tried many fixes but to no avail.
Extra Info:
The games that DO run:
  • Animal Crossing: City Folk
  • Super Paper Mario
  • Wii Party
Games that DO NOT run:
  • Super Mario Galaxy 2
  • The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess
My Flash drive is formatted to .wbfs and has a 3Gb storage(I suspect that is part of the issue)
My USBLoaderGx, cIOSes, and Wii seem up to date(as far as I can tell)
I am pretty new to all this modding stuff so please, cut me some slack,
Thank you, and I hope someone can help me

"My Flash drive is formatted to .wbfs'' You mean Fat32? flash drives are known cause problems with the Wii, so it might be a reason why you're having trouble with launching the games. Also the size is 3Gb? SMG2 alone is 1.4 Gb or something, plus TP (at least 2Gb), AC:CF around 200mb,and 2 more games. I don't know what kind of compression did you do, but to fit all those on a 3Gb( which the real size is even lower than that) is the obvious reason why you can't play those 2 games. Also external HDD are highly recommended when it comes to the Wii, get one with Y cable and you're all set.

1. I formatted it to the wbfs format which is the only one my Wii would read, I formatted it using WiiBackupManager
2. I have only been testing a single game at a time, thought that with the limited capacity it will be better than just stacking them all up.
3. Thank you, I will see if a hdd works, I have been using the flash drive just to try to get the gist of it, and decided to wait until I got the hang of it before buying or repurposing anything else

Ah! I didn't know that the wbfs formatting is a thing to circumvent the issues related to flash drives.. You can try using different Wbfs game files this time, and always chech the hash in the WiibackupManager. Also make sure the HDD is formatted to Fat32 (use some app to do that), and with a Y cable preferably.

Thank you, once again, and for further reference, I am pretty sure most computers do not only allow you to check a drive's format but also to format it to different formats, like Fat32, NTFS, etc.

Not yet, I need a bit of help with it.

If I understood your instruccions correctly, I should fix it up to look something like this:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<app version="1">

Do I need to get rid of anything else?
P.S.: I apologize for my inconsistent response times, I have a really awkward schedule

No, since your loader is seeing the games no need to change the ios used by the loader. Rather, in the game-specific settings for problematic games, change those ios settings. So start usb loader gx, navigate to your game, hit the settings button for that game, then change the ios there

galaxy 1 had new ap, which is why the wiikey had to put out an update. I don't know if that would affect usb loader gx (i.e. settings) or something or not.
