Im just gonna put it here, there is a way to pass the following mission without the original japanese ver. All you have to do is go to the tools section and change the cpu core its gonna slow your game but not crash it, wait until the target is far away then change the cpu core back (and make a safe state just in case it crashes again)

I cannot add much, but I will only chime in and say the larger Yakuza community is just the best, and stuff like this is why.

@AugmentedSmoke dude, thank you, and please thank the people working with you too for me. I was stoked when the patch for Black Panther finally dropped after all these years, even if it was only the main story. The thing that bummed me out the most was the thought that the sequel would be the only Yakuza game to ever elude me with zero English resources to help play it whatsoever, but I come check back up here and you've got a small group going ready to finish that story up for everyone. It really goes to show that the Yakuza fanbase and community is the best. Good luck with the rest of the translation, and I can't wait to play it!

@AugmentedSmoke Thank you for trying to translate Kurohyou 2. I hope that you and your team will be able to complete the translation and not get demotivated while doing so. You should also ask for help in Discord community for Yakuza fans as there are more people there who may be able to give you a hand there. I also heard that KHHSubs was planning to make translated walkthroughs for Kurohyou 2 so maybe you can contact him easier at Discord and work with him to get the translation faster. I also hope after that that you will work on completing the untranslated parts of Kurohyou 1 because the main game is great and all but I would also really like to know what is happening in the substories and be able to complete the game 100%.
For some reason, the text just shows stars instead of actual dialogue when speaking to people to progress. It happens most of the time in the text box.
Keep an eye on this space. News to come in the next few weeks and I will update here when I can.
You will need to use KHH Subs video for the playthrough to see what those stars are. I believe it's because they are special characters that did not exist in the font set type that was used by the original translators

It's a shame that it can't be translated or redone using a new translation using a new font type to improve the main story dialogue and menu UI. The game plays good but I had no idea on where to go.
@AugmentedSmoke and his team will try to work on finishing the translation on the first one once they have finished Kurohyou 2 translation. Where you need to go can be seen in the minimap highlighted in pink.
