does anyone know if blue dragon needs to be a god game? I was just playing it a few moments ago, and when I entered a battle on disc 3, it said "the disc is dirty" error. I then tried disc 2, and it said the same thing almost immediately after loading my save. I'm redownloading all three discs to check. I'll make them a jtag rip first again, since I have it set up to swap discs anyway.

I fixed the problem. yes, apparently, it needs to be god. tested two battles on disc 3 and loaded up a save from disc 2. no crashes this time. it was crashing every time I entered a battle, but it could be the fact that all three discs have nearly 15,000 files. with god, there's only 186 iirc. I also learned how to swap god games. you have to enable autoswap in the launch.ini (mine was set to false), set that to true. then, god games need to look like this (I hid discs 2 and 3 vita http):

btw, I tested a normal xex, disc game with dashlaunch. it also worked. I think FSD was swapping discs with the xex versions, but it wouldn't with god games, so that's why I enabled the option in dashlaunch. I have my launch.ini on usb, and I just swapped my fakeanim to usb as well, so that everything is easily accessible. anyway, I'm not sure how to swap god games with FSD2. I read up on it, and it seems to be a bug with FSD2 and possibly Aurora while FS3 is unaffected.

was a bit paranoid yesterday about this game. I had used an http link to bring the two other discs out of the hidden category to xbox360. I then deleted them via the y/options section to get them out of the database. discovered yesterday that disc 2 wasn't entirely deleted (169 files were still left). I deleted them via ftp, then deleted the blue dragon folder (deleted my backups of the jtag rip as well). I then hid discs 2 and 3, and I then tested the game again as a god game. loaded up really fast, disc swapped, no crash when going into battle (tested twice), so all is well now. :D what's odd is that it actually said disc 1, 2, and 3, which I shortened without the disc part using the rename option. I don't remember games usually saying that but rather just being the game name. what's also odd is I could've sworn blue dragon was written in Japanese, but it was in English with the god version. weird.
