Hey guys! Here's another preview to the new upcoming SNES Shrunken Spine set. All these covers have be redone except EightBound's front piece. Everything else I used the actual Japan box art and multiple resources online. I didn't put Mobile Suit Gundam F91: Formula Wars 0122 on here as it's still WIP. But, I promise it will look just as great as the others when it's done. Aside from that I'm currently working in the sports titles department and honestly, I'm not a fan.
Still no time frame on the release yet so I'll just keep everybody posted until then.
Currently 310 left in current set to update. Master folder has 450 titles left and I now have peaked over 900 total done.

I've got another minor update combine myself, as I've been trying to improve the integrity of the westernized covers for Japanese games, and was just gathering sources to do a custom Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Endless Duel, but you nailed exactly what I was going for.

SNES UPDATE PREVIEW #9.. Sorry guys I haven't posted in a good minute. I recently got caught up remodeling the master bedroom/ game room. I'm still working on the covers everyday. I decided to slow down on the hacked titles and work on the more mainstream games. (USA, Europe, Translation ect.) Doing this has sped things up quite a bit. Here we have more new protos and translations titles done. Right now I'm peeking at over 1000 covers done altogether and I'm about to start in the R's. More to come soon..

Hey everybody! I hope everyone is staying safe out there with all the craziness that's been going on. In the meantime, here is another SNES update preview of what's been going on with the set. This one is a mix of old covers updated with some new ones too. I would like to mention a few starting off with Prince of Persia. I went and redid the whole back so its now readable and polished the front pretty well.. it actually looks nice. Ren & Stimpy is a new one. I grab artwork from the NES cover and fixed it to match the SNES cover look and replaced the back logo. RoboCop was the real PITA. I got the big Orion and OCEAN logo removed from the front and polished the rest. Everything else is new really. More previews to come, until then, take care.

Hey everyone. I figured I would stop by and post an update to the new upcoming SNES cover set. Most of these covers took a lot of time. Bart's Nightmare was a real nightmare least to say, but's its now cleaned and polished nicely. Smartball I had to clone stamp the sh!t out of it to remove the Sony logo which took up 1/6th of the front cover and rearranged the back to look more like a standard SNES cover. (Sony games have been a real PITA in this set). Redone the Shin Megami Tensei covers to match up with the Japanese cover art, just with english logos replaced. Plenty of alternates available as well.
More previews to come.

Did you rename the .png so you have .n64 in the file name?
I had an issue even with my files properly renamed with Mega Drive games, I've tried the create Cache app and it worked.

Yes I added n64 to file name.
Which folder should they be in please?
Should the folder be not64 or wii64?

Thank you

If you are using the default Wiiflow theme i have no idea, sorry. But if you use the Shima theme/plugins pack they need to be where I said in the previous post

Update: added the full set for missing covers. It features blank covers for Plugins, Wii, GC, HB, Channels...everything.
There's a total of 68 covers plus 8 alternate covers. The .png's are compressed to take less memory as possible in wiiflow.
You'll have to reload the cache to make them appear.
If your Wiiflow is already short on memory (you have themes, downloaded lots of covers) there could be some cases where some plugins are suddenly not showing games anymore. Just reboot your Wii (even multiple times if necessary) and everything will come back into place.
Link in the 1st post.
Extract it in wiiflow/boxcovers/blank_covers.
The blank covers do not work for me, any special configuration? I have to rename or edit the theme.ini

no special configuration is needed, just follow the instructions from the message you quoted.
Is your Wiiflow Lite updated? Did you try to reload cache?
Are you using the Platform.ini file included in my theme or plugins pack?
Other than that, I don't know

1 if updated 5.4.9
2 if I reload cache
3 no, it was created based on your theme but it has some differences.
So the missing cover works the same as the backgrounds?

Yes they must be named with their platform name. So if you edited platform.ini changing platform names, you should rename the custom covers accordingly.

Sí, deben ser nombrados con el nombre de su plataforma. Entonces, si editó platform.ini cambiando los nombres de plataforma, debe cambiar el nombre de las portadas personalizadas en consecuencia.
Thank you so much

New custom USA style cover I just wrapped up for Getsu Fuma Den on the NES:

Getsu Fuuma Den (USA).png

Also, a shameless plug for my post with optimized up-to-date versions of the cover artwork on this thread:

https://gbatemp.net/threads/cover-collections-part-2.559649/post-9484466

Should I move my post out to it's own thread, or should I keep it buried within this one? I want people to be able to find it, but I don't want people to be confused by unnecessary forking.
