Hacking GameCube Controllers on Wii U's vWii???

I have a copy of DDRHP3 for Wii and wanted to play it on my Wii U but... it requires the Gamecube controller ports for the dance pad. is there a patcher for Wii Games that use the Gamecube Adapter for Gamecube Controller compatible/required games? I've had this problem for about... 3 years! if anyone knows of a patcher or is working on one, I'd LOVE to try it. thanks!

lol just buy the wiimote to gc controller extension and you can use the gc controller as a classic controller in every game xD i got one and it works great.

Yeah, but it doesn't recognize the Gamecube controller AS a Gamecube controller, it's recognized as a Classic Controller.

Mayflash made an adapter that plugs into your wiimote and lets you use your Gamecube controllers, it works on Wii U and it mimicks the Wii Classic Controller, I have one. It's discontinued but you might be able to find one on Ebay.

i know but it works for any other game that you want to use a gc controller and supports classic controller too like mario kart wii, if like the guy abode just wanted to play mkwii with gc controller he can do so easily on wiiu.

this doesnt work on the case of the OP mentioned since the dance pad is connected to teh gc ports of the wii and only awnsers to the gc code and not to the mimik of the cc code sadly.

what? lol i think you didnt understood the question at all...

there are very rare wii games like dance pad ones that altough they were wii games they used the wii gc controller ports for the dance pads , and those games couldnt even be playing on wii consoles without gc ports or wii minis becuase they lacked the gc controller ports to connect the dance pads.

the adapters that exist to connect gc controllers to the wiimote dont mimik the gc controller code and instead they turn gc controller code into classic controller code so you can use the gc controller as a classic controllers.

obviously the dance pad here would never works becuase the wii game would look for the gc controller code for the inputs and would only find CC code therefore it doesnt register a single thing.

you can use the adapter toi turn gc controllers into CC but the adapter doesnt send native gc controller input therefore games that read that input and dont use CC at all wont work with it.
