Hello, everyone. Very happy to post my first message here and I would be very grateful if some more experienced user could share his thoughts about my problem.

Started using the TwilightMenu++ from the SD card of a DSi Xl (1.4.5u) but, for some reason, some games have graphical glitches or other problems.

Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow animation intro doesn't play seamlessly; the save room is corrupted, without the statue and the blue lights in the background; some sprites don't appear on the screen even though the collision is still there.

Dragon Quest 4 shows many glitched horizontal lines in the intro (when the floating castle is being shown at the distance) and there are serious slowdowns whenever there are many sprites on screen (like big cities or inside castles).

I'm currently suspecting of my Micro SD card and that's what I would like to hear from you: can those problems be caused by a faulty Micro SD? Maybe someone encountered those problems when using a slow SD card model? Or maybe those glitches can be solved by changing some configuration in the menus. Does someone play those games without problems using the Twilight?

Thank you all in advance!

Turn off both Asynch Card Read and SWI Halt Hook in TWLMenu++ Settings.
SWI Halt Hook is what's causing the slowdowns.

Hey, Robz! Thanks for the reply! Fantastic work you've been doing. Thank you very much for it all.

Your suggestion really fixed the slowdowns in DQ4 but the inteo is still glitched with the horizontal lines. Is it normal or is there something that can be done?

That's normal, due to the load times being slightly different from cartridges.
