you can create folders on your 3DS home screen bro. And put whatever games you want into whatever folder. You can also use badges to customise their look so they represent what they have inside more accurately, if you feel like it
oh perfect? I have created a new one, named GameBoyAdvance (in the icon it is visibile only the first letter "G", but i think that it is normal. I will put inside the GBA games of course. Now, how can i use badge to customize it? Is it possible to insert an image, for example a GBA console image taken from google, in order to quickly and immediately recognize that in that icon there are the GBA games? thanks!

pretty much. Look up the homebrew by some guy here that lets you use png transparent images as badges. Just mind the resolution, i think the max is 64x64, anything bigger will be broken into multiple pieces, which, if you use for your home screen is fine, but for a folder you can only use a single badge, so edit it to fit the resolution limit. I don't remember the name and i didn't find it around my 3ds backup files sadly

GYTB allows you to add custom badges:

https://github.com/MrCheeze/GYTB

There's some pre-made packs of badges available here if you don't want to fiddle with making your own:

https://themeplaza.art/?category=badges&query=&sort=most-downloaded
done! I have created GBA, GB and GBC folders and put inside my games alreay installed. I also have applied the badges, very good!
Now i only have to install DS and 3DS games. I suppose that for 3DS games, i only have to search the .cia files (currently i have the games in another format, because i run them with the R4 card) and install them with FBI.
But what about the DS games? Is it necessary to convert the .nds files in .cia files? If so, how can i do that?

thanks!

Does this also allow editing the number of software used on the first screen? I've noticed that even when I'm hiding a game from the Activity Log through the injector, it still counts it as a title played. I'm up to 80 when maybe 10 of those are actual games started with the rest being tests to see functionality.
Not sure sorry. The activity log has never been a bother or issue of mine to worry about.

Im having an issue with beta 27; when I try to load in my custom border image, it doesn't load properly. My image is exactly 400x240, and it is a PNG formatted properly with a transparent hole for the screen. beta 28 seems to work just fine.

Is there a way to get 27 working properly?

Any way to inject Mario's Picross with Super game boy colors?
Unfortunately, no. The only emulator on 3DS that supports Super Gameboy color palettes is Gameyob and that's not one of the options in NSUI. The 3DS port of Gameyob actually doesn't support Super Gameboy borders, though, so the best way to play Gameboy games with SGB support on 3DS is still the DS version of Gameyob. There's a DSiWare installer for it.

One thing you can do is inject B&W Gameboy games using the Gameboy Color VC injector so that you get the GBC palettes, though those are usually not as good as SGB palettes. You can also add custom borders to a GBC inject, so you could give the inject one of the original SGB borders that way.

Thanks for explaining. I actually already tried injecting is as GBC but it still game out green & white.

Also can you clarify if sgb colors work on Gameyob 3ds or not?

Can you transfer a GBA CIA save file to another? I want to change some filters in a game I've been playing, but I don't want to start over.

Super Gameboy colors do work on 3DS Gameyob, but not the Super Gameboy custom borders. Both work on the DS version of Gameyob, which works just fine on the 3DS.

I also just found out that the standalone version of mGBA for the 3DS supports Super Gameboy palettes and borders. It supports the horizontal 800px screen mode, too, so scaling the screen looks better. I guess that makes it the best option. Sound emulation might be a little better in Gameyob...

After running the old game, reboot into godmode9 and copy 'SYSNAND VIRTUAL -> gbavc.sav' to gm9out, then launch the new game, reboot, and copy it over that same file.

most likely, yes. I know the translation of star ocean blue sphere for the gameboy color works without issue.

Nice! The main reason I wasn't sure was because of the obscure enhancement chip that's used in the cartridge and the use of a real time clock that's also in the cartridge. It was confirmed to work in the standalone SNES9X emulator on 3DS, so it's cool to know it likely works here, too.
