Those are the base CIA files that the injector uses to inject ROMs to convert them into an executable CIA in order to run them on the 3DS. What the injector does is make several copies of the emulators that run only one game. So, basically, you might have, like, several SNES9X emulators on the system, but they can only run one game.

The banners are basically the logos and icons of the CIA file that you chose before injecting the game into a CIA format.

Ah ok, I was attempting to find the locations of the emulators themselves. I most likely won't end up doing anything with it but was interested.

Having the source code or at least decompiled version is a good step forward.

Hopefully someone will be able to make the PlayStation emulator at least playable because the current version is very slow and the Ps1 forwarder is also outdated and hard to work with compared to the current retroarch version.

The dev went offline and hasn't been active for a really long time. If only they'd upload the source code...

Does anyone know if making the same injection again (with the same TID) but changing only the title name of the game will it update the old entry in Activity Log the next time it's played?

it likely will overwrite the old one. It will also overwrite the savedata of the other game if it has any

Is there any way to update an existing installed via without losing save data? Specifically I have injected a Pokemon rom and want to apply a patch without resetting my save. Can I just use the same title ID and use a higher version number?

Edit: I know real games can be updated with cia files so hoping there's a way for these injects too...

I played through a game using the SNES Virtual Console setting on the injector but only after finishing it and trying to get the next game working did I notice the screen resolution on this setting is not the pixel perfect 256x224. Instead, it's 284x224, which, no thanks.
If anyone has tips on how to get the normal resolution working, please let me know. The Virtual Console setting is the only one without a default screen size option in the application, so I didn't see anything worthwhile there.

So I spent a Sunday afternoon checking out the different forwarders and it turns out both the Snes9x and the RetroArch PocketSNES forwarders don't have every layer. PocketSNES was apparent very quickly when I checked out Bahamut Lagoon, but I didn't notice Snes9x's problems until I watched the opening cinematic for Lufia II... quite an annoying shock on my commute.

The RetroArch CATSFC forwarder seems to be the only one that doesn't have any immediately apparent flaws, though it wouldn't surprise me if I play through an entire game only to be shocked by a forest without leaves at the end, at this point. Would love to be proven wrong for once.

hi, i would like to add GBA games to my New 3DS xl, is the Beta 27 the latest version of the software? And is it available a quick guide to use it?

ok thanks. I started with my fisr game following the guide but i have a little issue: when i push on both the buttons "Download title screen from database" (or "boxart from database"), it appears this error:

that it means: "Requested deleted: impossible to create a secure channel SSL/TLS"

how can i fix it?

You will get the art from elsewhere. that issues been a known one for a good while. unfortunately no fix of it yet

now i can install my games with FBI: i suppose they will be installed in the microSD, is that correct?
Another question: is it possible to put in the 3DS menu all the GBA games in the same folder? I mean: i would like to load on 3DS my GBA, GBC and GB games, but it every game has its own icon, it will be very difficult to search a GBA game or a GB game and so on because all the games would be together... it will be very useful to separate the games for every console...but i don't know if it is possible...

you can create folders on your 3DS home screen bro. And put whatever games you want into whatever folder. You can also use badges to customise their look so they represent what they have inside more accurately, if you feel like it

Just a heads up about my question regarding injects info on Activity Log : I've tested and the game icon and title doesn't change in Activity Log, but statistcs does update. Looks like my Activity Log will be a mess. :(
Is there a way to reset the log?

it will take i believe 300 different game titles to be launched to start removing previous ones as it will start to overwrite at that point.
