GBA is actually still quite active, as a community, and draws in a different, maybe younger, crowd. When reading through the merged older subforums, this becomes obvious quickly.

You are at a risk burying all content that is not "Flashcards and Pokemon" imho.

Also its hard to switch between as many systems, if you are in a "lets help others out" mood, just conceptually - so I predict, much less engagement of people just generally helping out others in that subforum over time.

Bunching the older systems together might be an ok move, but please at least split it once more and separate mobile from non mobile systems.

Theres a similar issue with PC hardware and software and games. Maybe thats more palpable over time, but again, you are at risk of drowning out support sections with PC games talk. This may be less urgent dont know - but the "older systems" forum to me currently is unparsable.

FYI the GBA section has been brought back. There's a thread in there now to discuss it further:

We will monitor the activity of that forum and consider your suggestion, we're keeping an open mind for sure.

I've seen it and already liked your anouncement posting (wowzers, I've liked it! ;) ). Should be enough.

GBA alone had half of the threads in the old systems forums, it seems.

Thumbs up that you made the move so early. Imho it should be beneficial to the parsability of the old systems section.
