Hacking disc2app and wiiu games...is it really that easy ?

So i've got a few wiiu game dvd's and i've backed these up to SD card and then installed them with WUP Installer GX 2 to my USB HD...when I started up Nintendoland it downloaded and installed an update for the game from the Internet...is this the correct way to do it ?

Is it as simple as this i.e dumping with disc2app and installing it with WUP Installer GX2..or am I missing something important ?

I want to keep the dumped games in WUP format ( before they are installed by WUP Installer GX 2 ) so I can install these again if my Wiiu dies...can I do this or is the game paired to the wiiu it was ripped from ?

Sorry a few questions there but I'm new to all this so just wanted to clarify what's possible

Disc has the same ID as eshop games so yes

by the way what happens when nintendo close there updates server..will the game still work without the update that it normally auto updates ?

I think auto-updating is not necessary in this case, as long as you have the game running....I think.
