Hacking How often should I create a NAND backup?

I have 4.3U with boot2 and I already made a NAND backup when I hacked my Wii a few days ago.

Should I be regularly be making backups or is that not necessary?

make one however often you like, but you should always make a new one right befor your start installing any other homebrew updates or wads. also know that any save files you had after the nand was made will be lost when you restore from that nand.
