I just ran out of DVD-R disc (the usually disc I use to burn Wii games), but I have a stack of DVD+R DL for my 360. Is it possible to have the Wii play them when I burn a game on them?

it's perfectly fine to burn single layer images to dl per se. in practice dual layer discs happen to have a much lower reflectivity and your drive may have a hard time reading them. that's especially true for softmods or flat cable type hw mods.
chances are a lot better with 5/6/9 wire mods on a d2e or older drive, nevertheless drive conditon and media quality are a significant factor. in order to read +R or+R DL media with a softmod make sure to set the booktype to ROM. always burn at lowest possible speed.

so... if you're desperate give it a shot.

personally i find the utter waste of money/bits hearbreaking. but i've been in the situation before... (sigh)

for dual layer games you can burn with those but other wise you can't the only dual layer games i can think of at the moment is SSBB metroid prime triolgly. metriod other m and samuiral warriors 3 are the only game you can burn with those dvd-r's.
