Hmm, using this could we get the 64gb from the new OLED models to work on the v1 units?
May I ask what do u mean exactly?
putting the 64GB eMMC from the new OLED model on a v1 model?

if this is your question, I think the better way should be buying a modified eMMC with higher capacity from places like aliexpress

Its good to see that its finally possible! We can install linux, android, etc. to switch but cant install another nand? My as*!
Just inject the keys to nand (If i read correctly)! We have the master key, we can decrypt shit out of it!
Every switchs' emmc is same, they just have different keys.
IIRC when I suggested this whole process, they laughed me.

Good job OP!

I'm not sure about that, because there can be device id mismatch among the files, which causes black screen on boot.
I will recommend to make a nand backup first now, which can at least let u boot, make a remark on the file or folder of the backup
Then u can try to do the prodinfo generated with donor file, and if it doesn't work, do the whole process again with prodinfo and other files given to u together.
In my guide, the pikafix pack should contain all the files you need.
Thank you again. I think I will stick what I have got currently, will revisit it the near future and follow your guide to the letter. I am hoping perhaps you will make a noob guide in the future or make the process more simple. It is just a hope not expectation.

The guide is already written as step-by-step noob proof guide
It's lengthy only because it is a noob level (with hekate experience) guide

Well I don't think they "laughed" because it was impossible but because its kind of impractical. You need a fully functioning eMMC to inject and if you already have one, then you can just use the one from that console instead. Most people don't own a second Switch to begin with.

Yes you are correct and fully understand. On another note I have received the mmcblknx after last post and tried to use it in or with ubuntu but does not recognise it with the bad or working nand. All I can see in usb settings if I can recall usb 2.0-crw and numbers in brackets, I added it but nothing. I typed the commands to read boot 0 and 1 but nothing. I read on the creator or the maker @ github and states "Works out of the box with Ubuntu 20.04.1" then also said before the latter "requires Linux and rtsx drivers to be installed". I cannot find the RTSX drivers and driving me up the wall. Please can you advise me how to get this to work or recognise in ubuntu. I could not find any instructions for the sake of searching for hours. Would you be able to kindly do a tutorial of some form ?

Just an update from my previous post and as advised by a previous post, faulty mmcblknx was the root cause of not being recognised, which the post was I think removed during an upadte. It is plug and play in Ubuntu and refer to manufacturers page. Just used via ubuntu or live ubuntu and if not recognised more likely module itself faulty or the emmc bad. Always check with a good emmc.

Sorry I can't give more information, I don't know anything about circuitry, but I checked in China and they sell Hynix separately (different memory particles)? On taobao I have seen Chinese selling mmcblknx that reads Hynix separately, and yes they use mmcblknx open source code.

Thank you, I appreciate the info and no worries. I just wanted to know for curiosity.
