Which homebrew project development do you follow closely?

Not exactly, but I like where the Android on Vita is heading. They mentioned the Dead Space Mobile game might get ported which I was excited for specifically, as I couldn't ever get it working on an emulator and it's the only Dead Space I haven't played.

Sono’s TWLPatch - running DS games with better pixel scaling on 3DS, optionally in widescreen. Unlikely to be updated, as Sono has left public homebrew development. But it does what he set out to do, so it’s not a big problem. I’m just hoping someone explores his discovery of RTcom (a way of having the 3DS-exclusive hardware talk to the DS bits) to allow analog control in games like Super Mario 64 DS and Metroid Prime Hunters using the Circle Pad rather then touchscreen.

Maschell’s HID-to-Vpad - using other controllers on Wii U. Of less importance to me now, as I have a Brook converter that lets me use my Xbox Elite controller without the Network Client part of the project (have the Wii U listen for controllers connected to a PC on the same network). The feature I haven’t got working is the DS4 motion control so I can use gyro aiming in Breath of the Wild with a controller other than the GamePad. Maschell made the source code available, but he wasn’t happy with the performance and didn’t include it in the latest build. Building it myself has been problematic as it only woks with particular versions of the DevKitPro tools, and the developer of that has a policy of only making the latest versions accessible and encouraging people to update projects to keep up (which is beyond my very basic coding experience). A member of this site managed to build it for me, but it crashes, so it clearly needs some work.

Mostly I follow the threads here in case people have problems in using the projects that I can help with.

There are a few projects that I'm following because I use them. Normally the homebrew appstore is a big help to keep track but there have been no updates in the past few months :/
Anyways. The homebrews I follow closely are PPlay (sadly it seems to be discontinued) and missioncontrol for the switch, the dsi wpa2 lib (if that counts) for ds/dsi and the video player for 3ds.

At this point pretty much nothing. I do the rounds of all my usual sources to see what comes up and get pleasantly surprised from time to time but seems homebrew is dead so following individual projects is almost as much of a disappointment as you are to ur mum.

I've been following TWiLight Menu++ and nds-bootstrap loader both very closely since they started. I love the DS and being able to play my DS games on my 3DS without a flashcart has always been a goal, so I am super happy these projects exist and have made so much progress over the years.

I don't know if this is the right kind of answer, but I really like seeing the work done on the Taxman/Stealth Sonic decompilations and Sonic 3 AIR. Classic Sonic is great and it's awesome that it's becoming easier to play the best versions of them.
