The Xbox Series X controller is not supported at the moment. Only the Xbox One X controller.
but even though it does some of the buttons and Analog directions are swapped. and for some reason in Retroarch pressing left on the Analog Stick disconnects and reconnects the Controller? but again this only happens with the Clone Switch Controller, Official Controller works amazing Early Xbox One Controllers didnt have Bluetooth connectivity looking at your pic it looks like you have the non Bluetooth Controller.
My mistake. The pic you posted looked like one of the older Xbox One controllers with the separate plastic bumpers.

Well, afaik my ds4 controller worked perfectly with no issues, I tested Zelda breath of the wild yesterday and it worked fine, I played like 30 minutes and everything went fine and no issues at allI thought I may get lucky since there was a report earlier in the thread of someone getting the model 1 PS4 controller working fine.
My Clone Switch controller acts weird too, but it's more usable than the PS4 controller
