Does anyone have a cheat for Skyward Sword Switch where I have Beedle's bug in its cage? I just can't get through the insect challenge so a cheat would be a great help

This doesnt update visually like RE HD, you can either press X to cycle characters or exit screen and enter again to see changes.
If changing an item in slot 1 requires 2 slots, make sure you have enough free space for other items to move into, it should automatically move them into the other slots and not override them if you have the free slots.
Do not exit screen on an Invalid Item or else it will close the game down.
Ive added the cheat file named differently so it wont overwrite your existing file, simply open and copy/paste the cheats into your existing file.
Do not post to other sites.

After some more messing around with this, I ran into all the same issues you both have.
My only Solution is to take the contents folder out of the equation, as it appears it's an issue with the English patch.
So create a new TID folder/cheats and apply whatever cheats you would like. most likely max money/crystals and the like,
Max levels and so on, things you don't actually need to read the text for. save and then get rid of the cheats folder and
put the patch back into play. Other than that, I'm out of ideas.
Don't need to understand the text to create cheats like I did for Trails from Zero, Give me some time, and let me see
what i can come up with.

Ok so here we go, This is what I did to get this headache working.
I'm using NX-Shell just to quickly rename the folders each time I do this, no resetting the switch was needed.
EDIT: You do need to close down the game, rename the folders and re-launch each time mind you.
A little tedious, but it works.
Rename the TID folder to 010085B01388A000[] - thus disabling the language patch.
Make a new TID folder with just a cheat folder inside. and place the cheat file I've uploaded inside.
Now when you load up the game you will have no issues with the dmnt not attached BS. and the cheats will work.
I just got to the point in the game where you first gain control and was able to save. tested the cheats and they do work.
I saved again, went back and renamed the folders this time with 010085B01388A000[C] so my lazy ass knew exactly
which one contained the cheats and removed the [] from the original. Loaded it up and everything worked.
IF you use the sys-tweak module you will have to restart the switch to have it show the custom icon and config.ini file.
If you just rename the folders, the translation patch kicks right in without any issues.
Hope this/these help you all looking to get this game working!

whats this game and the problem?
have you tried the edizion overlay and tesla, i used to get this error message randomly when entering edizion se from the home menu, but never using the overlay.
or could you use breeze beta to load up your cheat file with edizion overlay, these are the two i use, breeze to update my cheat file once ftp'd over and edizion overlay to enable cheats in game, i only use edizion se when searching for codes which i am still ?
when you search you can find a result but edizion doesnt recognise it even if its main, you have to click R3 and make note of that address it uses as bookmark and you use for pointer search.
would be nice to have an actual memory editor feature that you can jump to an address without having to start a search or bookmark.
ive been doing loads of dumps lately and notes, but i cant seem to use edizion se jump feature as it allways says address cant be found, yet if i search for it manually..... hey presto its there.
edizion is somewhat better as i used to be an sx os user and never had any luck with pointers, but now i do, but the interface and features, i prefered sx os as it was more user friendly, something i cant figure on edizion is starting a known search value, then going to an unknown (less than) never works.
it would be nice to have a simple memory editor feature where you can look at memory without searching and jump to addresses you think might be possible codes (think i said this already, 1ltr of southern comfort to ease my pains (chemo) )
I suppose you need to relaunch the game? What I did was just rename exefs directory, save a bit of effort but the relaunching the game is a bummer. Good thing the game can almost save anywhere (until you get into a very looooooooooong dialogue). I think the way to go is just to use bookmark and manually cheat. I can read Chinese so it is just the unnatural name (Non English game having character name that is translated from English name is just strange) and I read English faster. The same reason I prefer the Chinese version when it comes to Samurai Warrior and especially Dynasty Warrior. The name recognition is just bad when the name get translated.

Where do I begin with the problems haha!
- Adding a cheatfile will crash the game during startup
- EdiZon cant get the build Id ( shown as 0000000000000 ) and the overlay displays no information at all.
- Cant search the RAM anymore ( All ranges point to zero )
among other issues
Yup and neither can get a read on the game while the language patch is in effect. Edizon refuses to attach to it period and Breeze
can't open a cheat file.

Maybe you missed one of my earlier post. Edizon se can do search just fine except no cheatVM. You have to disable auto attach in the second option screen.
I did see that post, and it's what gave me the ideas about the manual searching, so thanks for that!
This game's just a pain in the butt trying to utilize edizon with the language patch enabled lol.
The applet is written assuming that dmnt is always available so some feature like transferring between cheat code and bookmark is now gone. You can't freeze memory.

I added R+Rstick down to go memory explorer. Heap address is prefilled in the keyboard input screen but you can edit it to anything you want. Not sure what is not real with the memory editor. Edizon se is not user friendly and it never will be unless someone else want to do it. I am not going to overhaul it, better off doing Breeze with a fresh start.
