ROM Hack Is there a way to use plg cheat modules?

Hello everybody,

I have updated my 3DS XL with fw v11.14.0

Well, now I´ve noticed that NTR doesn´t work any more.

My question to the "Pro´s" here: Is there a way that I can still use my plg cheat modules?
Sorry, I´m a noob and was happy that LUMA is still working after the update... :-)

Or, if there is no way to get those cheat modules working again: Is it possible to downgrade the firmware of my 3DS?
Feeling a bit helpless right now and regret that I´ve updated the fw of my 3DS... :-(

You need Nanquitas' build of Luma3DS that supports plugins (same version number 10.2.1 as LumaTeam's): https://github.com/Nanquitas/Luma3DS/releases. Just (backup! and) replace the boot.firm in the top level of your SD card.

You don't need to downgrade the 3DS firmware.

I did this a few days ago and have managed to get an NTR plugin working.

Yes, I had found that "workaround", but my problem is that I´ve read on the page you´ve linked that it is only possible to use .3gx files with that build.

But I´m searching for a way to use .plg files, cause many of the modules I´m using aren´t available in
.3gx file format (for example the cheat module for Pokemon Ultra Moon...)

https://github.com/Nanquitas/BootNTR/releases/tag/v2.13.4 directs you to use the 3GX Loader version of Luma for NTR. I have got cheats working in Metroid Prime Federation Force with a plg.

Try it? I don't think NTR would damage anything if it doesn't work properly.

Oh okaaay....thanks for your reply. ;-)
Then I will test it....guess it´s not a big deal, cause I only have to replace the boot.firm file as far as I read, right?

Anmd if it won´t work, I can put the "old" boot.firm file back to the sd card :-)
