Hacking Question Just got a unpatched switch and want to hack it

Hi,

just got my hands on a hackable switch and got my micro sd card, still waiting on the jumper thingy.

When I got the switch its firmware was already at 12.1.0 - will this be a problem? because on this guide it says its unhackable but im guessing this guide is dated as well.

I see atmosphere is updated for 12.1.0 so will I be okay to get started once my jumper comes in the mail?

If your switch is upatched then it's hackable forever

If you got an unpatched unit it is 100% exploitable, if it potentially patched it is 50/50% you got to push a payload to see.
