Whenever I try to launch a game on my emuNAND (which is a exact copy of my sysNAND), my Nintendo Switch tells me it's unable to connect to the internet.

Well, duh. (?) I don't want it to go online obviously because I wanna mod my games offline on my emuNAND.

I tried to install the latest sig-patches.
I tried to make a new local account and remove my old main account.
I tried to link fake accounts using "tinfoil" and "Linkalho"

Nothing worked so far.

I have a Switch with SX Lite (Spacecraft-NX) running Atmosphere.

Any help would be dope! :D

  1. Is the issue with one game, or is the issue with multiple games?
  2. Which game(s) have the issue?
  3. Do you have the latest update for the game installed? The crucial assets of some games are located in the update, not the base game.
  4. What is the system version of your emuMMC? Same games require higher system versions, and there is no way to bypass some system version requirements.
  5. Are you sure you are using the latest version of Atmosphere and these signature patches? https://github.com/ITotalJustice/patches/releases/latest

1. and 2. All games
3. I have all the latest updates of games installed, because it is a fresh copy of my sysNAND.
4. Both my sysNAND and my emuNAND are on 12.1.0
5. Yes, just copied them over once again and nothing changed sadly. Actually they made the situation worse a few days ago, because after I installed them, I couldn't launch homebrew forwarders anymore.

Thanks for trying to help me :)

What happens if you delete the atmosphere folder from your SD card, redownload the latest version of Atmosphere, redownload the latest signature patches from the link I provided and put the fresh versions onto your SD card?

Done. Sadly no changes to the game launching situation. However I noticed that once again while the patches are not installed, my forwarders work. After I paste them over they stop working. Probably not related tho. :(

It sounds to me like the games aren't actually installed. Do they have the little cloud icon that shows they aren't installed? Did you copy the contents of the Nintendo folder over to where you're redirecting it for the emuMMC?

They are actually installed, since I copied over the Nintendo folder and I am able to extract their NSP files using backup programs. No little cloud icon.

If you're using Hekate as your bootloader, you might be missing certain patches in your config. A good way to check this is by booting into your emuMMC using fusee-primary instead of Hekate and checking if the games launch.

My understanding is fusee-primary will default to booting your emuMMC if you have one, but I don't use an emuMMC, so I don't know from experience if that's true. It sounds like your sysMMC is already dirty, so I see no reason not to just try booting fusee-primary and checking in the system settings that you booted into your emuMMC.

You can edit emummc.ini manually to force fusee-primary to boot into your emuMMC.

Out of curiosity, why are you using an emuMMC?

I didn't, where did I say that. Maybe it is my bad English, for the record, my sysnand is clean ;) I said that I was able to backup my NSPs in emuNAND mode which proofed to me that they are installed.

I would try booting into the emuMMC using fusee-primary, regardless of whether or not the sysMMC is dirty.

It sounds risky they way you word it, is this really the only option left?
No, this is only a matter of troubleshooting. You should boot into your emuMMC, and if you don't, it's not going to dirty your sysMMC if you don't use any homebrew or install anything. You can also edit emummc.ini manually to force fusee-primary to boot into your emuMMC.

Alternatively, you could check your Hekate config file and see if you're missing any necessary patch settings, which is what I guess is happening.

I don't see anything obviously wrong, but I don't use Hekate or an emuMMC. I'd recommend booting into your emuMMC using fusee-primary to help figure out where the problem lies. If the games still refuse to work, you know the problem is unrelated to Hekate and its settings. If the games work, then you know the problem is related to Hekate and its settings.

Also, are you using the latest version of Hekate?
