I can't install Autoplugin 2 with Vitashell 2.02. Instead it loads to 99% then just gives me "error 0x80101112". A cursory search brings up no information on this issue.

Edit: I download Autoplugin 1 and it successfully installed, though attempting to update will tell me that it updated but doesn't actually do anything. It's still on Autoplugin1.

@spyro3dsguy ,download this, because Autoplugin1 is outdated and no longer supported.

try extracting the vpk, putting it in the app folder on ux0, then refreshing the livearea.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

the vpk is essentially a compressed file, so you should be able to extract it with .7z.

Ok. I extracted the vpk to a folder in the apps called "AUTOPLUG2"(named after AUTOPLUG0 thats already on there. Don't know if that's the correct abbreviation), refreshed the live area and rebooted the device. But still no app. Was I just supposed to extract the vpk straight to the apps folder?

Tried it. Still no autoplugin2 in the livearea.
@spyro3dsguy ,the folder you have to rename it as in the screenshot below and then do refresch live area & license

@godreborn ,the vpk simply rename to .zip and extract with winrar/7zip or sometimes you can do it directly from the PS Vita by copying the contents of the zip to the folder you are interested in.

Alright so I factory reset my Vita and reinstalled Enso and now AP2 installs. I suspect it was a storage glitch because I was deleting as many apps and stray files as I could but the file manager kept saying I had less than 40MB left.

I forgot which app it was (think it might've been custom theme installer), but I had one app that wouldn't install no matter what, so I had to use qcma to get it on to the system. it worked.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

btw, make a backup of ur0/shell/db/app.db so you never have to go through this shit again.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

you might also want the appmeta on ur0's root. that contains icons, backgrounds, etc for the installed titles. default app stuff is located in vs0 iirc.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

another btw, the app.db is what makes the apps show up on the livearea, so it's good to have. they use page/position. the page is kinda obvious and position goes from 0-9. it's kinda hard to determine page with folders, since they're like 20+, but the first page is either 3 or 4, I forgot. that's how you can see if something is installed. if two things are installed to the same page/position, one or both won't appear, forgot that too, but it won't harm the system. that's in the appicon table with the name and location of the icon. the appinfo table is mostly stuff from the param.sfo, so it's very important. you don't need to know all that, I just find it interesting. it contains your configuration (where things are located, folders, folder names, etc.). that's why you should back that up.

@godreborn when i did the PS Vita reset,i just refreshed the live area & license with VitaShell, the only thing i had to reinstall was the plugins that got lost with the factory reset and internal memory formatting, everything else was on Sd2vita ux0.

I no longer have an sd2vita plugin in my config.txt, but yamt.skprx (I think is what it's called) is in there. it's now a part of the boot_config.txt instead. I deleted the sd2vita plugin that I was using, which I think was gamesd.skprx.

@godreborn ,the plugins when you install them with autoplugin2 automatically go to ur0:tai and if you format the internal memory or do a system restore you lose them.
Now,i don't know now if making a backup of ur0:tai and then putting it back in its place and reloading taihen.config from the settings after a reset there is no need to download them again.

I've made a backup of several key files for both the vita and pstv:

I wrote these locations out. ur0 is just the appmeta, and the rest are pretty easy to understand. as you can see, I've backed up ur0/tai
