ROM Hack Tinfoil - Issue

Hello everyone - new here!

Recently installed Tinfoil version 12.1 on my switch. when I would play the games i downloaded is it normal i get lag spikes during cut scenes and also sometimes when im playing the game?
Has this happen to anyone? any fixes on this? its really annoying the lag - i dont know what to do!

You didn't tell us much about your setup.
  1. Does this happen with all games, or with one game in particular?
  2. Are you using an emuMMC?
  3. Are the games installed to the eMMC or the SD card?
  4. Have you tried error checking or reformatting the SD card?
  5. Have you tried using a different SD card?

1. Yes all games
2. Yes
3. SD Card
4. How can i error check? Must of reformatted it like 5 times because i kept messing up my files lol
5. Using Sandisk so no i never tried a different one.. Should i?

It sounds to me like a problem with the SD card. I'd troubleshoot by trying a different one.

Would i have to Re do everything? or can i simply drag and drop all old files from old sd card to new one? sorry new to this so not 100% sure
