Ok so this one time, someone posted a link, implying it was to something else, but it actually turned out to be a link to that rickroll video.

One time someone linked me to a rickroll video, then when I clicked on it, it was Two Girls, One Cup!
I would say my best one is where I engineered a text mystery for my friends in sixth grade. It was weird, but included a lot of decryption and encryption. The final message they had to get was from a compressed file. Inside, a single text file laid there with the message "Decrypt: UTF-8". I then had the entirety of Never Gonna Give You Up pasted in pure UTF-8 (like \u2048\).

ok so the day we came back for whatever reason music now played during reccess. and the principal said we can email her and request songs that arent to nsfw. so it ends and we all go back to class. my freind whos in front of me turns to my direction as whispers in my ear. lets request never gonna give you up and rickroll the whole school. i like the idea and imateintly wait for school to end. when its over i do what i normally do, pick up my little sister and go home. i then run to my room, turn on my laptop and open discord and say that we should all email her the song request to raise the chance she will play it. another freind in out freind group didnt like the idea but eventually did. next day we go to school and im so excited to rickroll 400+ people. finally its reccess and i do my thing and wait. nothing. "huh, i thought for sure it would work with so many emails from so many people, oh well..." i think so myself and leave to go the bathroom. im at the bathroom and i see 2 boys by the boys bathroom mad as hecc. i ask whas wrong and the say "we got rickrolled!" i begin to smile. and they realize.
when i got home that day all my freinds thought we had the world record. we didnt sadly but 400+ people is a lot.
